What is waste classification reduction?

Waste classification and reduction means reducing waste from the source, taking kitchen waste as an example. For example, in residential areas, restaurants, unit canteens, hotels and other sources, use professional small oil-water separation equipment to reduce the amount, and then remove the residue and oil pollution in a unified way for centralized treatment.

According to the principle of "rough classification", domestic waste is generally divided into three categories: "kitchen waste/kitchen waste and other waste".

Kitchen waste refers to perishable food waste produced in the family, mainly including vegetables, leaves, leftovers, melons and fruits, discarded food and so on.

Kitchen waste refers to food residue, residual liquid, waste oil and other wastes produced by catering service units in food processing, catering service and unit feeding activities. Catering service units refer to canteens and restaurants of catering enterprises, institutions, troops, schools and other units.

Other garbage refers to garbage other than the above-mentioned kitchen waste/kitchen waste, mainly including discarded food bags (boxes), discarded plastic wrap (bags), discarded paper towels, discarded bottles and cans, lime soil, cigarette butts, etc.
