What is the turndown service?

The turndown service is to arrange rooms before going to bed at night, which is also called "turndown" or "night service".

In the original star-rated hotels, western-style beds were usually made, with bedspreads and blankets wrapped in sheets. The waiter took off the bedspread above, and then opened the blanket and the sheets above at an angle of about 30 degrees to facilitate the guests to sleep. This is a special folding bed. But in fact, the operation process also includes simple room layout and item supplement.

The turndown service includes:

1. Turn the whole room into a night atmosphere, dim the lights and close the curtains.

2. Replenish mineral water, clean used cups and put them on supper.

3. Put the bed in sleep mode, take off the towel at the end of the bed, stack the quilt in a corner in front of the pillow, put the breakfast card (or meal delivery card) and chocolate (if there is no midnight snack), spread the corner towel on the floor of the bed, and put on slippers.

4. The bathroom should be supplemented with accessories, the towels used by the guests should be replaced, and the items should be put back in their original places; Put a corner towel in front of the bathtub and a non-slip mat in the bathtub.
