Is the book the spiritual food for people? Why?
In middle school, the county library was only two blocks away from the school. Every Sunday, I go to the reading room to read books, especially magazines. The reading room is on the third floor, and I always arrive early. The sun has just risen in the morning, and the county seat is only half bright and half dark. This is the same as my situation. Material embarrassment bothers me, and sometimes I seem to lose confidence in life. Good books always hold my hand and run forward. Soon, the librarian with long hair shawl came from the sun with the sound of "good" high heels. Opening the door, receiving the card and issuing the seat card are all carried out in silence. I spent the whole Sunday in fantasy. I am floating on the river of Chinese, sometimes rushing, sometimes buffering, sometimes rugged, sometimes calm. In the blue book, I am the master of my own destiny and the captain of my own soul. After closing the library, I walked out of the reading room and into the secular world, and my mood began to be foggy again. The twists and turns on the road of life are tight, and the deep hatred and anxiety in the hearts of teenagers come to me together. How I want to gallop my imagination in books and periodicals again, looking for spiritual idols and spiritual comfort!
After entering the university, poverty still haunts me like a demon. The university campus in the 1980s was just an era when passion was more than rationality, emptiness prevailed, wisdom withered, and the smell of money worship filled reading consciousness. Especially in normal university, these "favored children", with helplessness in the choice of college entrance examination and indifference to their future careers, hit the bleak autumn wind prematurely in the green world of life. But I think: the morning without the sun is also the morning, and the youth with poor material wealth should of course be the youth without regrets. For my dream "Ordinary World", three meals a week are cold steamed buns, but I eat them with relish. Standing on the scenery of the years, my body is poor, but my soul is high above. I am interested in places, pointing out the mountains and inspiring words. Countless times, I experienced the beauty of life and the dignity of life in the pleasure of "sitting in the book city, although it is not easy for Nandi". I am studying, just like a hungry cow suddenly breaking into a green vegetable field. The library, where I make a pilgrimage. I wander in the boundless night of wisdom by candlelight every day. I saw the pen of genius burning on the crown of the book. At this moment, my ten fingers are also bright, and my eyes are also bright. The candlelight of life is projected on the bookshelf, and the United books contain more power than steel, which makes me shudder. I firmly imagine: when, my thin collection of poems will become a rib in the library!
In the summer vacation of my sophomore year, in the vegetable market, I found the librarian with long hair standing in front of the food stall selling vegetables. The setting sun cast a yellow halo over the lush vegetables. My eyes are blurred, and vegetables, like the great men I read in the county reading room in high school, will soon be served by fellow villagers. I frantically crossed the flashy market and climbed into the reading room on the third floor of the county library. A group of people are playing billiards. It turns out that because of the shortage of funds, the reading room has been contracted to self-employed people to make billiards rooms. There are also several middle school students sweating like a pig, releasing the passion of youth in billiards that can't grasp the direction. Standing on the stairs on the third floor, I remembered Mao Zedong's words: "Sunset is like blood, horseshoes are broken, horns are swallowed, and roads are like iron. Now I am striding from the beginning. " A farmer's son became a great man. It was books that set the stage for his 25,000-mile long March. He has traveled in books all his life. A county town cannot provide a spiritual shrine for children. Looking at the streets lined with high-rise buildings and hotel ants, I thought of Ye Saining's "sky blue" Russia. In the tsarist era, libraries were all over the countryside, and Pushkin's poems became a must-read for Russian families. I think that when the Russian economy is in extreme panic, citizens are still waiting in line calmly, waiting for the economic recovery. Books are the spiritual food of a nation, and the consumption index of books determines the quality of the people. In the full swing of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the students lamented that "there is a big North China, but even a quiet desk can't be put down". Today, rich people will not think of the great value of the library to life!
After graduation, I returned to my hometown with poverty as always and four boxes full of books. I chose to be a Chinese teacher, not only because of family difficulties, but also because this profession is closely related to words and books. Reading and writing are my daily work. I stubbornly believe that reading and writing are the two wheels of a Chinese teacher's life, and writing is the driving wheel. Only by mastering the wheel of writing skillfully can reading advance to a deeper and wider field. I really appreciate books and libraries. In the difficult times of life, books and periodicals soothe my soul. Facing the difficult reality, the masters accompanied me in the books, and by the dim light of imagination, I slowly climbed the first step of the human spiritual hall. The library is another kind of land to raise us human beings! The library is another kind of residence for us human beings!
1998, I have grown into a teaching backbone. However, facing the students who are eager for knowledge, the complicated Chinese teaching practice and my strong passion for Chinese teaching, I realize that I need a breakthrough, a double breakthrough in teaching theory and practice. If what I saw before was only a few Chinese teaching trees in the group, then now I want to go to the big forest of Chinese teaching in the country. I resolutely went to the library again. To tell the truth, I didn't think highly of Chinese teaching articles before. After six years of teaching practice, I have completed more than 1000 classes, with both successes and failures. Reading the classic articles on Chinese teaching again, I suddenly found a fascinating ocean! The water here is bright and the waves are rolling. Here, the sailors are tenacious and there are many waves. I also found that most of the admirable ancestors of China were people with two wheels: reading and writing. Taking 1998 as a turning point in Chinese teaching is because I have transformed Chinese teaching from a teacher's role model into a spiritual habitat-library.
In 2002, I had a "virtual library"-a computer connected to a broadband network. With the help of strong network advantages, I often go into "Yihai Bookstore", "Times Bookstore" and "Yifan Library" to browse, read and consult materials. Everything in the world is in the book, and everything in the world is not in the book. It is still superfluous to put the universe in books. Paper books are the sword of the cold weapon era. No matter how it develops, it is necessary for self-defense because of convenience. Some exquisite swords are still decorations for those antique people. This is like my favorite book, with exquisite binding and quaint design. When I have a book in my hand, I can read it like a cup of mellow wine. It has both fragrance and elegant color. The father of paper is trees and grass, and we hold paper books and nature in the distance. An out-and-out bookworm not only focuses on the content of the book, but also loves the external form of the book and is immersed in the elegant atmosphere in the rubbings. Books have really become their food, wine, water, lovers and lovers. The realm of people and books is beyond reading. The book of the network, like the missile in the era of hot weapons, has powerful information and is memorable. More importantly, computers and the Internet provide tools and materials for writing. I have a feeling of pen and paper about keyboard and screen, and keyboard clicks and stream of consciousness form harmonious writing music. However, the screen and keyboard, network cable and mouse, the texture of hard plastic and complicated operating procedures give us a feeling of formal homework, and we can't always associate reading and writing with daily life. When I read paper books, it's like sitting in my yard listening to the chirping of summer insects and enjoying the full moon; When I read electronic texts, it's like sitting in my office, talking about politics, economy, state affairs and the ups and downs of promotion.
Standing on the campus of a foreign land in the south of the Yangtze River, I thought of a small town in the north of Saibei, and I still disdained to run a book. Nowadays, Internet cafes and buying home computers are another attraction in the town, but I doubt how many people are reading and writing. I have always believed that a person's reading habits are cultivated by paper books. Only when I love paper books in my youth can I feel warm about words and language in my later life, can I regard books as a part of my life, and can I regard reading as a sail of my life. Only in this way can we use computers to gain the wisdom of life in the future, otherwise computers are just gambling tools, which will make people's hearts impetuous and degenerate.
Some people say that reading is a nerd. I want to say that books should be intimate friends of dialogue, not a bunch of boring words. A life of reading books can make people wise. Borges, a great writer who has been engaged in library career all his life, said: "Among many human tools, the most magical is undoubtedly the book, and the rest are extensions of the human body, such as microscopes and telescopes, which are visual extensions; Telephone is an extension of language; Plows and swords are extensions of weapons. This book is completely different. It is an extension of memory and imagination. "
