The spectacular Saibei Forest Sea

A long green dragon lies across the mountains, blocking the wind and sand, telling the story of the passing years. Another Xiongguan Road has opened up a grassland road, shining with the immortal spirit of the people in the old district who closed the mountains to cultivate forests and sang songs to the sky. ——Inscription

There is such a group of old people who always live behind the scenes and devote their youth in obscurity. They built the Great Green Wall with their hands and raised the hope of turning barren mountains into oasis. Their persistence and strength have penetrated into the soil along with the tree roots and injected into the blood of everyone in Guyuan.

Guyuan is a county located at the junction of Zhangjiakou City and Inner Mongolia. It is the oldest plateau on earth. In ancient times, there was no land, hills, or grasslands here, but an endless sea. The most primitive algae of life thrived under the nourishment of the sea. It was also at that time that Guyuan had a green shade of life. In the long years to come, Guyuan began to experience great changes one after another. Due to the intense orogeny, the mountains rose from the sea, and the seawater receded little by little, forming land.

Guyuan was a famously windy and wild place at that time. No matter spring, summer, autumn or winter, the wind was always blowing here. But compared to spring, other seasons are nothing. Spring is the most ferocious season of the year. At that time, wind and sand account for about 80% of the "landscape" that can be seen with the eyes. For drivers, the visibility is less than two meters in such windy sand. The people in the old districts spent their childhood in such an environment. In their memories, the sandstorm may have left a different impression on them. For example, blow away the "cool balls" that were in their childhood pits, or blow away the "square pockets" that they just hit. (Note: Liangliang balls are marbles, and square pockets are sandbags used by children). At that time, there were few trees in Guyuan, and even some remote villages may not see any green at all, which led to the wanton behavior of wind and sand.

The climate in Guyuan is windy and rainy all year round, so it is known as "white-haired wind in winter, rhubarb wind in spring, no dust in the beginning of summer, and dust burying people dead". At that time, Fengsha was a frequent visitor here, and he would definitely stay here for a year and a half every time he came. At that time, people would always say: "The wind blows twice a year in Guyuan, once for half a year." Then they would smile in despair, because they didn't know if there would be an end to such wind and sand.

Every year around the beginning of summer is the busy season for farming. Every household will carry seeds and work on their own one-third of an acre of land, looking forward to the harvest in autumn. A newly married daughter-in-law from another city followed the example of other women and carried seeds on her back to the field and started sowing seeds. He grabbed a handful of seeds with his left hand and just sprinkled a few seeds with his right hand. He straightened up again and tried to get the seeds, only to find that they were empty. At this time, everyone will always smile naively and say: "Sister, the wind here has a mouth." Then everyone around them will laugh silly, and the bitterness in the smile may only be understood by them.

In fact, in such a situation, people will always lament the "gentleness" of the wind. Because in severe cases, the wheat seeds and corn seeds that have just been planted will be strangled in the germination stage due to a continuous sandstorm. Every autumn at that time, the wheat yield will always be greatly reduced. In winter, families gather together to eat a big pot of rice. We support each other through the ice, snow and cold. They will comfort themselves that the coming year will be good and the harvest will be good. But the word "harvest" has never appeared in their dictionary, and it is really out of reach for them.

The Zhangjiakou Saibei Forest Farm Project was built in June 1998. The project area is located at the head of Zhangjiakou and is 180 kilometers long from east to west and 33 kilometers wide from north to south (of which Guyuan is 75 kilometers long from east to west and 25 kilometers wide from north to south). The overall planning of the project is 1.98 million acres (of which 800,000 acres are in Guyuan).

The project area has high mountains and steep slopes, criss-crossing ravines, little forest area, severe water erosion and desertification, and a very harsh ecological environment. Saibei Forestry Farm plans to spend 15 years combining development and protection, artificial afforestation and mountain closure, trees, shrubs and grasses, and afforestation projects and ancillary facilities to create 1.98 million acres of ecological protection forest. The regional forest coverage rate reaches 39.12%.

The Saibei Forest Farm project consists of six branches: Guyuan, Chicheng, Chongli, Zhangbei, Shangyi and Wanquan. At present, 1.28 million acres of artificial forestation have been completed, and 350,000 acres of mountains have been closed for afforestation, with the forest coverage rate reaching 33.5%.

In Guyuan, there are 6 project areas with an area of ??more than 100,000 acres:

1. Nanchang Forestry Area: Fengyuandian, Nanchang, Pingtouliang, Ganshuihe, and Erdaogou in Guyuan County It was built in areas such as 1999 to 2005. The main species are larch, sylvestris pine, spruce, birch, sea buckthorn, caragana, etc. The tallest tree species can grow more than 7 meters. The original forest and the existing forest The area is 150,000 acres.

2. Xiba Forestry Area: Starting from Xiba in Guyuan County in the east and Zhenzigou in the west to Zhangbei Erdaoba, it was built from 1999 to 2005. The main tree species are larch, sylvestris pine, Spruce, birch, poplar, sea buckthorn, caragana, etc., can reach a maximum height of about 9 meters, and the forest area is 100,000 acres.

3. Nantan Forestry Area: Guyuan County Nantan, Gongnong, Laozhanggou, Caidaigou, Dagangou, Yushundian, etc. were built from 1999 to 2006, covering an area of ??10 Thousands of acres.

4. Maying Forestry Area: Involving Songshubao, Junzibao, Gushan, Bianjiabao, Huangyugou, Dashukeng, Gaojiayao and other places in Chicheng County from 1999 to 2008 The main species are larch, pine, Pinus sylvestris, apricot, etc., covering an area of ??130,000 acres.

5. Bingshanliangying Forestry Area: starting from Pandaogou, Xingshundian, Dayingzi, Yangpo, Wudaogou in Guyuan County in the north to Dushikou, Yunzhou and other villages in Chicheng County in the south. It was built from 2001 to 2004. The main tree species include larch, Pinus sylvestris, apricot, caragana, etc., covering an area of ??100,000 acres.

6. Huapiling Forestry Area: Mainly located in Banshentu, Daming, No. 5, No. 6, No. 11, Qingsanying, Wudaoying and other places in Chongli County. It was built from 1999 to 2007. The tree species include larch, Pinus sylvestris, spruce, birch, apricot, sea buckthorn, caragana, etc. The forest area is 138,000 acres.

The original Saibei Forest Farm project is one of the key projects in Hebei Province - "Building Three More Saihanba Forest Farms". It was proposed by Vice Chairman Zou Jiahua after inspecting the achievements of Hebei's forestry construction. The purpose of the project is to implement artificial afforestation in the river source areas and windy sand areas along the dam heads in Zhangzhou and Chengdu, expand the forest area, build an ecological barrier between Beijing and Tianjin, and gradually control windy sand hazards and soil erosion in the project area. Resolutely resist the invasion of wind and sand from the south to Beijing and Tianjin, protect the water source and water quality of the capital, improve the ecological environment in the surrounding areas of Beijing and Tianjin, and benefit the local people.

Saibei Forest Farm*** will be completed in two phases. The first phase of the project plans to afforestation 320,000 acres (including 300,000 acres in Guyuan) in 5 years (1999---2003), and the second phase of the project (2004---2010) will afforestation 780,000 acres (including 240,000 acres in Guyuan). mu). Gradually achieve the purpose of preventing sandstorms, preserving water sources for Beijing and Tianjin, increasing resources and expanding financial resources for the local area.

After the Saibei Forest Farm project was launched, Wen Deli, deputy director and senior engineer of the Guyuan County Forestry Bureau, began to organize afforestation. Factory Director Li Baojin led the people of the old district to actively participate in it, and people from all townships and villages volunteered to participate in the "Afforestation, Defend Homeland" activity. Among them, Fengyuandian Township, Changliang Township and Lianhuatan Township were the first to start.

People in Fengyuandian Township go out before dawn every morning, some driving carriages, some carrying buckets, and some carrying shovels. Everyone's footsteps are galloping, and their destination is the same. There are so many people going up the mountain every day that they can’t be counted, and the tree-planting team stretches across several streets. It is no exaggeration to say that the tree planting scene at that time was really majestic. There are quite a few people who have the momentum to stop planting trees on barren hills until they die.

There were old and young men and women in the tree-planting team. They wore various clothes and planted trees on the hillside under the scorching sun. People all over the mountains and plains covered the edges and rocks of the mountains. The people on each mountain are like the stars in the night sky. Some drove carriages to transport saplings to the mountains, some dug tree pits, some supported saplings, and some watered them... Everyone had a bright smile on their faces, and no matter how tired they were, they could not stop them from planting trees. determination. At this time, the entire hillside becomes a colorful and beautiful landscape. Some people squatted to cover the soil, some bent over to water, and some stood holding the saplings. There were large and small buckets of blue and green, just like a painting of labor in the mountains.

After three o'clock in the day, the sun began to become fierce. Everyone's faces were already covered with sweat, and it began to roll down from the ears and temples on both sides. A strong man inadvertently rubbed his face with his hands, one on the left and one on the right, and everyone around him burst into laughter. Someone joked: "We have a wild kitten here, hahaha...".

At this time, the man seemed to realize something, and quickly wiped his face with his sleeve. As a result, everyone laughed loudly and couldn't stop laughing. The person who just made fun said again: "The kitten has turned into a tabby cat, hahaha...". The man was not annoyed, but started laughing along with them. And said: "No matter what, I can plant a tree and turn into any cat, hahaha..." Everyone relieved their fatigue in such laughter, and then repeated the same work.

Because we were in the mountains at that time, many things were very inconvenient, such as draft issues and "relief" issues. (Relieving yourself means going to the bathroom). I remember that there was a woman who was in a hurry and wanted to go to the toilet. She thought that there must be a deserted place on such a large hillside, but she went around and around and couldn't find a place where she could solve her emergency. At that time, there were men and women planting trees on the hillside, and there were people all over the mountains and plains, so there was no place to relieve themselves. Faced with such difficult conditions, everyone unanimously decided to use bricks and asbestos tiles to build a simple men's and women's toilet not far from the foot of the mountain for everyone to use.

There were still difficult times when everyone couldn’t drink a sip of water throughout the day. Because we were in a hurry in the morning, we forgot to bring water from home. After we went up the mountain, we were too far away from the bottom, so we just persisted. After planting trees for a day, go home and drink water. The water I drank at that time was already more than ten hours after the last time I drank water. Even under such difficult conditions, the number of tree planting teams not only did not decrease, but also increased day by day.

As the tree planting work in Fengyuandian Township and Changliang Township gradually got on the right track, tree planting work in other towns such as Lotus Beach, Jiuliancheng and other places also gradually started. At that time, Guyuan stretched from Shili Mountain in Changliang Township in the east to Batagou in Xiba Village in Lianhuatan Township in the west. The mountains that stretched for more than a hundred miles were full of swaying figures. They were the people of the old district who were working hard to create a green belt. .

Perhaps due to an innate sense of mission, the people in the old district have never complained of tiredness or suffering. When dense tree pits were dug out and young saplings were planted, we seemed to see the light of hope rising. To this day, it is difficult for us to imagine how the people in the old areas at that time completed the 50-mile-wide Green Great Wall completely manually without using machines. Sweat is the nutrients that water the saplings to thrive, and the young green trees have known for a long time that they carry the wishes and dreams of thousands of people. Therefore, in the years to come, whether it is severe cold or scorching heat, they will survive with the willpower of the people in the old area.

Time has gradually opened the distance between us and Saibei Forest Farm, but the spirit of the people in the old area has already been deeply engraved in the heart and imprinted on the innermost layer of the ventricular wall. No matter how time passes, those figures all over the hillside will always live in the forest and in the land for which they have devoted their efforts.

The tree planting work is in full swing. All project areas are equally busy, and the enthusiasm of the villagers is getting higher and higher. As the tree planting area in Fengyuandian Township continues to expand, tree planting work in Changliang, Xiaochang, Lianhuatan, Pandaogou, Yangpo and other engineering areas is also proceeding in an orderly manner. The reason why this tree planting work was carried out so smoothly is mostly due to factory director Li Baojin.

In 1966, Li Baojin graduated from the Landscape Branch of Hebei Agricultural University. Later, he came to Guyuan, a treasure land, and began his forestry construction career. At that time, there was only a small piece of natural secondary forest here, and the county's forest coverage rate was only 0.5% of the area. It was from here that history was rewritten. In 1968, Li Yan, the commune secretary of Huanggainao Commune, went to the Forestry Bureau to personally select "general" and asked Li Baojin to work as a forestry technician in Huanggainao Commune. Since then, Li Baojin’s life has been filled with admirable green stories one after another.

When Li Baojing came to Huanggainao, it was the annual strong wind season. He watched helplessly as the strong wind blew away the seeds that the farmers had sown so hard, and the farmers had to plant one crop after another. In this way, he actively gave advice to the commune party committee and proposed the construction method of "planting forests first, developing water first, and supporting soil and fertilizer planting". First of all, we should develop farmland and forest nets to prevent wind and sand and build a livelihood guarantee line for farmers. After the commune party committee agreed to his plan, he carried a compass and led three planners to the vast fields. They left early and returned late, climbing mountains and wading through quagmire. They walked more than 850 kilometers in one month and surveyed 290,000 acres of farmland in the entire commune.

After finishing his field work, he made full use of the professional knowledge he learned, summarizing and drawing charts day and night. After half a month of hard work, a grand blueprint of the Huanggainao farmland and forest network was placed in front of Secretary Li. So a planned and step-by-step afforestation campaign of farmland forest network began. It is precisely in this way that afforestation activities have begun in various areas of the county.

After 6 years of hard work, Director Li Baojin led the people of the old district to realize the transformation of all communes into farmland forest networks, becoming the first commune in the county with forest networks up to standard, and also becoming the leader in the construction of farmland forest networks in Zhangjiakou area. model. Due to his outstanding work and remarkable achievements, Factory Director Li Baojin honorably joined the Communist Party of China on November 26, 1971.

Now, when you climb the mountain ridge in the south of Huanggainao Township, you will have a panoramic view of the green grid embedded in the vast land: Lin Chengwang, fields Chengfang, and a piece of Huanggainao stands on the mountain ridge. The farmland forest network monument was built by the township in 1984 and rebuilt in 1994. The inscription records the process and achievements of Li Yan, Li Baojin and others in building and renovating shelterbelts. The last two sentences are full of affection: "Never forget the benefits of our predecessors." The merits of our ancestors will be remembered today.”

Director Li Baojin is the greatest contributor to Saibei Forest Farm and the benefactor of the entire forest. Without him, there would be no green forests and seas now; without him, there would be no blue sky and white clouds now; without him, there would be no golden wheat fields now. Therefore, more than half of the credit for the rapid development of Guyuan's forestry industry goes to Director Li Baojin. If Saibei Forest Farm is a person, then Director Li Baojin must be the person's heart. He controls the person's life and death.

Under the leadership of Factory Director Li Baojin and the people of the old district, after long-term efforts, the saplings were stabilized in the sand. The wind and sand no longer pose a threat to the wheat fields and crops. Guyuan is surrounded by a transparent protective shield, protecting all living creatures in this green forest. But these patches of green just attract the eyes of cattle and sheep, and they will run up the mountain disobediently from time to time. Therefore, the government decided to find some local people as forest rangers in each project area to protect the young saplings that have not experienced wind and rain. The most famous ranger among them is Wang Wenhua.

Wang Wenhua is a well-known female ranger at the Guyuan Branch of Saibei Forest Farm. In 2002, Saibei Forestry Farm went to the village to inspect the afforestation mechanism, and Wang Wenhua was the first to make up his mind to plant trees in the countryside. She sold her livestock and took out a loan from a credit union, spending 80,000 yuan to contract 8,000 acres of forest land. Later, Wang Wenhua once said: "Now the barren hills have turned green, the living conditions of the villagers have improved, and the enthusiasm for afforestation has also increased." Wang Wenhua took the lead and established an image of a hero who actively sacrificed himself for others.

There are several forest rangers like Wang Wenhua at almost every site. They are mainly responsible for the defense of the forest sea on the mountain. Especially around the Qingming Festival, many people go up the mountain to burn paper and worship, which is when trees are most in danger. At that time, the hillsides were all covered with dry wood, and because of the high terrain, the wind would be very strong. As long as there was a spark, it would follow the wind and bring fire all over the mountains and plains. At this time, the rangers worked almost 24 hours a day, without wages or subsidies, but they would not slack off for a moment. Because they know how difficult it is to grow an oasis on this land, and this hard-won green forest must not be destroyed by a little fire.

A ranger named Song passed away not long ago, and many of us went to his funeral. Among them was an old man with gray hair who stood about one meter away from the photo of the deceased with tears in his eyes, raising his right hand in salute. I looked at his back that was stooped due to age, but he insisted on keeping it straight and always stood there with his right hand raised. At that scene, my eyes became inexplicably wet, and my heart clenched with sadness. Later I found out that Grandpa Song and the grandpa saluting were both veterans. They retired from the army together in 1980 and returned to their hometown of Guyuan. Later, they became forest rangers together. In the process, they were like soldiers guarding the frontier, never relaxing their protection of Lin Hai for a moment.

These forest rangers have devoted their lives to protecting their hometown from the nightmare of wind and sand. Their selfless dedication deserves to be studied devoutly by everyone in our future generations.

These people just left us quietly. No matter how great things they did, they were unwilling to publicize it and just wanted to live silently behind the scenes forever.

But I believe we will always remember them and pass on their deeds from generation to generation.

After long and arduous years, the people of the old district have finally built these desolate hillsides into a closely connected green cradle. The vast expanse of green flows endlessly into the distance, wave after wave. The pine forest swaying in the wind brings green hope and imagination.

Standing in the engineering area of ??Fengyuandian Township, Guyuan County, on a mountain about 1,900 meters above sea level, I feel the coolness of late autumn and listen to the rustling of leaves. That is the larch tree planted 12 years ago. It is now about 7 meters high, and it is a concentrated contiguous project area of ????10,000 acres.

When you step into the Guyuan Shanzigou Project Area and look around the slopes and ravines, you will see vast forests everywhere and dense branches and leaves of forest and grass everywhere. It can be said to be a colorful autumn color. Look at the larch, sylvestris pine and spruce planted at that time. When the flowers and plants were withering and about to dry up, these pines, which had just revealed their sharp corners, swayed in the wind and remained green all year round, showing their strong vitality. It symbolizes a spirit of refusing to admit defeat and working hard.

Ten thousand acres of barren hills have turned into a sea of ??trees, and the trees all over the mountains and plains have connected into green waves. Towering trees rise from the ground and are covered with greenery, as if they are like green gems inlaid on the head of the dam. Dense pine trees, rolling along with the mountains, are like barriers protecting their homes.

When you stand in the forest and observe carefully, you will find that most of the trees here are not as straight as cypress trees, but they have strong and noble qualities. They can stand proudly in the crevices of cliffs where other trees cannot take root and survive; they can also be full of vitality in the northern country where the north wind is blowing, covered in ice and snow, flowers withered, and all vegetation is withered. Just like the people in the old areas, they never know what retreat is.

The green ocean from east to south, from west to north, fills the eye wave's endurance with the highest frequency. If you haven't seen it with your own eyes, it's really hard to imagine that nearly 1 million acres of green forest are living around you, bringing you higher air quality. The layers of pine trees connected end to end are like cute children, swaying in the wind and smiling at everyone who looks at them.

Standing on the highest-end forest protection and fire prevention observation tower in the 100,000-acre project area of ??Guandi Naobao Mountain, looking around, from near to far, you can see bright lines, strong layering, and stretching. The rolling mountains are covered with forests everywhere. It can be said that this place is an ocean of forests, the hometown of grass, and a paradise of rare birds and animals. There is also the famous "Heavenly Road", which originated from here.

Speaking of Tianlu, it also has a legendary history. It is a road to the sky located in the Fengyuandian project area of ??Saibei Forest Farm. Because Fengyuandian is a rural village surrounded by mountains, it was the most difficult to carry out tree planting work here at that time. When factory director Li Baojin went to Fengyuan Store to survey the terrain, he remained silent. Because he didn't know where the saplings should be transported up the mountain or where the car should go. Later, after research and decision by various leaders in the county, the mountain was built and the road was built.

It took a month for the excavator to carve a "bloody road" on the steep rocky mountain wall. After the road was built, everyone came to witness the success of this great project. Standing at the foot of the Heavenly Road and looking up, I felt that the Heavenly Road was inserted into the clouds and connected with the sky, so everyone unanimously shouted the two words "Heavenly Road". That's how the magical sky came into being. The name of the road.

I don’t know since when, the words "Saibei Forest Farm" and "Tianlu" have been imprinted on the hearts of the people in the old area. It has become the most sacred and solemn totem that cannot be desecrated, protecting everyone here and their home.

When you are in the middle of the forest, you will find that everything around you is no longer so important, and your mentality will return to the original starting point. This is not only the highest point of green, but also high-quality oxygen that purifies the heart. Traveling in the green ocean, the worldly world has long been forgotten, everything is a new beginning and a new starting point. The density of green leaves is enough to sweep away the useless storage in your brain. This is the secret of Linhai.

According to scientific experiments, afforestation can reduce noise by 5 to 40 decibels, which is 5 to 25 decibels lower than the natural attenuation in open space at the same distance from the sound source. Not only that, forests can absorb carbon dioxide, produce oxygen, regulate climate, purify the air, reduce waste gas, prevent and retain dust, and conserve water sources.

Wait for the function. It can also effectively control water and soil erosion, prevent wind and sand, increase soil water storage capacity, greatly improve the ecological environment, and reduce losses from flood disasters. Moreover, as economic forestry gradually enters a mature stage, afforestation will generate huge direct and indirect economic benefits, and it can also promote the sustainable development of the local economy. The huge forest carbon sink will play a positive role in protecting the global climate system and ecological environment.

According to monitoring by relevant departments, since afforestation, the number of Level 2 days in Guyuan has increased year by year, and the pollution index has dropped significantly. From 234 Level 2 days in 2003 to 306 Level 2 days in 2007, the number of Level 1 days increased by 50 days in the first eight months of this year compared with last year, and the pollution index dropped from 3.45 in 2003 to 2.4 last year. dropped to 2.2 per month. Not only that, many elderly people also actively reported to the government the results of afforestation.

Tao Jinshan, a farmer in his 60s from Nantan Village, Guyuan, said: After the forests along the dam project were established, the rainfall was more than in the past. In the past, our place had nine droughts in ten years, but now there is no such thing as a perfect harvest. A microclimate has been formed, with higher yields, more forage, and a bumper harvest every year. Uncle Duan, who is over 70 years old in Erdaogou Village, Guyuan County, said excitedly: The yellow sand and windy weather gradually disappeared in spring, and the bare barren mountains have now turned into green, which makes him feel relieved. Wang Changshan, a villager in Pandaogou, Guyuan County, described the ecological vegetation at Batuu like this: trees have grown up, grass has grown taller, and animals that have not been seen for many years have appeared again. Sandgrouse, half-wings, pheasants, and hares can be seen everywhere. Every old man’s remarks are from the bottom of his heart and are a true portrayal of Saibei Forest Farm.

As we all know, Guyuan’s tourism industry has developed rapidly in recent years and ranks at the forefront of the national tourism industry. Among them, the natural grassland of Wuhua Meadow has the most considerable benefits. And who knows that the predecessor of Wuhua Meadow was actually a dry and desolate wasteland without the current flowers and plants. Later changes were due to the trees planted in the Saibei Forest Farm gradually becoming mature, and the wasteland of Wuhua Meadow gradually lost its desertification and was replaced by an oasis. Therefore, some scientists boldly predict that if all the forest vegetation in Guyuan is utilized, Guyuan will have eternal benefits, and Guyuan’s tourism prospects are immeasurable.

What was once a barren mountain and windy sand, is now a sea of ??green forests. For a moment, a wave of swallowing and being swallowed formed in my brain. I know clearly that Guyuan has transformed into a prosperous and green county after afforestation. This is the dream of every people in the old districts, and a dream that every people in the old districts is willing to stick to throughout their lives. When they joined hands and realized this dream, everything in the world seemed to have lost its color. The only thing that remained was the scene where they looked at Lin Hai and smiled innocently, laughing until tears flowed from his eyes.

The hopes cultivated by the people in the old districts have now grown into towering trees. And these trees are using their lives to interpret the changes in history and the growth rings of time. Their majesty is the best witness to history. They are the most precious treasure that history has left for us. Their innocence, cleanness, and vastness are meant for us to remember deeply and develop better.

Now when we look back at that period of history, we are not only shocked but also mixed with nostalgia. I miss that era and the people of that era. If I could go back in time, I really want to see with my own eyes the pits, trees, watering and support, and the faces of the people in the old district who are not afraid of the severe cold and heat. Each of them may have had a story of their own, but the moment they picked up the sapling, their story was the Great Green Wall of Saibei Forest Farm.

The people in these old areas do not need gorgeous language packages or exaggerated scales in their dreams, only a simple and real oasis. They demonstrate the "Foolish Old Man Moves Mountains" spirit of the people of Guyuan, Zhangjiakou, and interpret the true meaning of man's victory over nature. The dreams of the people in these old areas will turn into notes and compose a beautiful melody that will linger in their ears forever, live forever, and be passed down from generation to generation.

Time is like a long river, constantly washing away the past facts, leaving deeper sediment after each wash. The green dragons sewn into the yellow sand not only blocked the spread of desolation and desolation, but also opened up the legend of turning barren mountains into oasis. It uses its strong body to describe the ruthlessness of the wind and sand and the hardships of people. It carries the dream of several generations and finally witnesses the transformation of that dream into a butterfly.

Today, the Saibei Forest Farm has become the best protective wall in Beijing, resisting the attack of wind and sand and ensuring the safety of the capital. Just like all the people in the old area expected, these trees have lived up to the hard work of the people in the old area and they are fulfilling their mission. The vast forest sea is like a giant green dragon, lying in the north and south of Guyuan, always standing on the land of China, sticking to its post and guarding the children of China. Let us pay tribute to the people of the old district.
