The history of Qiufengzhai

After Huang Guoqiang retired from the army in 2002, he started his career by operating a hotel.

On the Double Ninth Festival in 2007, after returning from starting a business abroad, he took the initiative to invite the elderly in the village to travel to Nankun Mountain at Huang Guoqiang’s personal expense. Unexpectedly, my enthusiasm was rejected by the old people in the village. An old man said, "Whenever you go to Nankun Mountain, the scenery and ecology of the mountains behind Guanshan Mountain are better than Nankun Mountain."

The speaker is unintentional, but the listener is intentional. Huang Guoqiang said that when he was a child, he visited the mountain behind the village, where a large area of ??original ecological forest was well preserved. In addition, there was a "Tianchi" covering an area of ??nearly 100 acres on the top of the mountain. If such a good ecology can be developed into a scenic spot, it will indeed be comparable to Nankun Mountain. Then, an idea came into being.

In June 2010, the Qiufengzhai tourist area project was approved by the Huizhou Municipal Development and Reform Bureau. According to the plan, the Qiufengzhai tourist area plans to have a total investment of nearly 1 billion yuan, and the construction period is from 2010 to 2015. Construction will be carried out in phases one, two and three.

During the long holiday on October 1, 2012, it was still under construction and had not yet opened for business.
