Ieoh Ming Pei
Located in Xiangshan Park in the western suburbs of Beijing, it was built at 1982 and designed by the famous American architect I.M. Pei.
The building absorbs the characteristics of China garden architecture, and handles the axis, spatial sequence and garden in an orderly way, with a slight lightness.
The whole building is built on the mountain, with a patchwork and twists and turns, and the courtyards meet. The building itself is painted white in a large area with distinctive features. The facade of the building is castle-like, with regular windows and holes.
