Seek practical experience in hotel management major (front office)

* * * *, I was lucky enough to come to the * * hotel and practice at the front desk. Now I have just been transferred to the front desk. After nearly four months of internship, I not only read more books about the hotel front desk, but also got a good understanding of the general management system of the front desk, and also learned a lot of valuable knowledge about how to work directly at the front desk of high-star hotels. Work is not only a matter of procedure, but also a harmonious combination of theory and practice, which makes work more scientific, efficient and humanized, and is a comprehensive system. In the process of internship, through efficient work, you can also expand your knowledge in other fields, including dealing with people and professional knowledge, and accumulate necessary social experience for yourself. So I think I really benefited a lot during my internship.

At first, I worked in a hotel in GRO, and my main responsibility was to maintain the relationship with guests. When I joined this team, my first impression was that I was very busy, which was quite different from my imagination that GRO should be a very leisurely position. In a threesome, there must be a teacher. After joining the team, every colleague is my teacher. They have rich experience and unique opinions in their life and work. These are all things I want to learn. Especially their serious and responsible attitude in their work, I feel deeply.

First of all, it is very important to do things sincerely in the service industry of hotels. In the team, many old colleagues have always attached great importance to teaching me how to be a man. The importance of a person's humanistic quality is far greater than the importance of scientific knowledge. Reflected in concrete life, on the one hand, we are required to be polite and sincere.

Secondly, at work, I think diligence and curiosity are also indispensable. Entering the hotel internship is a good opportunity for me to get in touch with the society, especially the upper and middle classes. It is a good learning opportunity to enrich yourself and broaden your horizons. In hotel work, we will encounter such and such problems, so this requires us to form a good habit of being diligent and asking questions, so that we can not only learn more, but also benefit for life.

In specific work, we should pay attention to principles, be orderly and principled, never change things, and must do things in a certain order, but sometimes the needs of the situation also require us to understand the principle of flexibility and improvise. Stick to your own position and know how to compromise. Only in this way can we carry out our work better.

In addition to the team, during the whole internship, I also felt that some soft factors such as the corporate culture and management concept of the hotel left a deep impression on me. For example, the relationship between superiors and subordinates in hotel management is really just a division of labor, and it is by no means the relationship between ruling and being ruled in many enterprises; On the contrary, the philosophy of hotel management tells us that management is a special service. Only when managers serve their subordinates well and help them make outstanding achievements in their work can managers have their own management achievements. The management of modern enterprises must adhere to the "three gods", namely: market, customers and employees! As an old employee of the Finance Department said: "The core issue of management should be how to maximize the value on the basis of avoiding conflicts of interest. There is also a broad subjective dynamic space between managers and employees, which should be the basic knowledge of both. " I think this may be what every employee wants to say to the leader.

A good corporate culture is indeed a spirit that can unite people. A nation has its own national culture, and an enterprise also needs its own corporate culture. Corporate culture construction is not dispensable, but necessary for the survival and development of enterprises. When the enterprise is facing various challenges, it needs Qi Xin, the owner of the enterprise, to work together and unite to overcome the difficulties. For enterprises that don't have a good corporate culture, they are usually fragmented. When something happens, they will think about their worries, but no one really thinks about the development of the enterprise. In other words, they just don't integrate themselves into the enterprise. It can be seen that the construction of corporate culture is a necessary guarantee for the survival and development of enterprises.

If an enterprise has an effective incentive mechanism and promotion system, it is really beneficial to the overall development of the hotel. Of course, if the hotel's incentive mechanism pays too much attention to material incentives and ignores spiritual incentives, it is also not conducive to the cohesion of employees. In fact, in addition to traditional rewards and punishments, there are many incentive methods that are worth learning from our managers. Sometimes, a smile or a compliment from the leader is more effective than a salary increase reward!

How time flies! It feels like a blink of an eye. Nearly four months have passed. Looking back on my internship, I felt uneasy, afraid that what I learned at school would be useless, and felt that taking part in my first job was so mysterious and elusive. But after learning some simple operations, I found that many things can be combined with what I have learned, and they are some simple theories-what the teacher asked to know. With the deepening and understanding of the work, it is not easy to apply what you have learned. Yes, it is easy to learn to combine practice with theory, but it is difficult to create practice with theory. This requires our constant attention.

Finally, I would like to thank all the leading teachers who provided help and guidance for my internship, and thank you for your concern and help for so many days. I believe this precious internship experience will always accompany me in my future work and life. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Through this internship, I will know more about the accumulation of knowledge and practice and constantly enrich myself. Finally, thank you for the opportunity provided by the hotel! Thank you for your support and concern!
