"The Best of Hengtang" is one of the eight scenic spots in the ancient Xianghu Lake. The location is around the former site of Niudai Shitang in Hengzhutang today. According to ancient records, Hengzhutang was originally named Huangzhutang or Huangzhutang. It is said that there is bamboo on the pond here, which is called Huangzhutang. Wei Ji, a poet in the Ming Dynasty, said in a poem that "the pond in Huangzhufan is faint" also refers to Huangzhutang. Later, it was misrepresented as Hengtang. Hengzhutang Village is located in the south of Xianghu Lake, where the lake is rippling and surrounded by green trees, especially Niudai ancient port, with developed commerce and trade, beautiful birds and flowers. Therefore, "the best of Hengtang" is called one of the eight scenic spots of Guxiang Lake.

In the Song Dynasty, Zhang Xia built a horizontal pond for dozens of miles. From then on, the boats on the river are flying, and the pastoral scenery on both sides of the strait is attractive, attracting many poets and writers. Many famous people in the past dynasties have been here, including He, Wen, Lin Zexu and others, Su Xiaoxiao, a famous prostitute in the south of the Yangtze River, and Dr. Sun Yat-sen who entered Shaoxing by boat from Hangzhou.

There are also many literati who have left many poems. For example, Lai Hongyong, a poet in the Qing Dynasty, wrote "Boat Crossing the Cross Pond": "Take a boat and walk on the shore. Tugboats compete for the port, and fishermen are drying their nets by the river. The soil turns high and the ridges are plowed with yellow calves, and the pond is full of white geese. Outside Shili Village Market, Hongqiang Ancient Temple locks cigarettes. " The poem is beautifully written, and the scenery of Niudai ancient port and village opposite the pond is also very vivid and moving.

Historian Chai Haisheng told us that someone planted the Eight Scenes of Xianghu Lake "the Best of Hengtang" in another place. He defended it when he heard about it. As a result, the "best of Hengtang" was restored to Hengzhutang. However, to make this ancient site a bright spot, it also needs the tourism development of people in the industry to carry forward our ancient history and culture. Nantangmiao

Just a few meters away from Nanjin Niudai, there is a Nantang Temple, which is also an ancient temple. Temple is not big, formerly known as "Zhang Temple". There are also records in Old Xiaoshan County Records and Xiaoshan Huxiang Records, which were built in memory of Zhang Xia Taigong. An idol is sitting in the temple, with thick eyebrows and a big beard, which is very imposing. It turns out that this is the squire of Zhang Xia, a water conservancy official. According to historical records, during the Northern Song Dynasty, Zhang Xia, assistant minister of the Ministry of Industry (a native of Xiaoshanhe), was ordered to build Guantang in Hengzhutang area, transforming the original earthen pond into a stone pond, which lasted more than ten miles. This stone pond has been walking in the upper reaches of Hengzhutang Village, all made of square stones. After the completion of this horizontal pond, it was not only flood control, but also a landscape at that time. It looked simple and stocky, with an antique appearance, and became a major waterway at that time. There are countless temples in the world, each with its own historical and cultural background. Yang Qi Temple is also a unique temple. Yang Qi Temple was built in the second year of Jiading in the Southern Song Dynasty (1209). Because the east and west wharves where they were located were buried, Yang and Queen Ning of the Southern Song Dynasty homonymed "Qi" and "Ji". The temple is called "Yang Qi Temple" and "Yang Qi Scenic Area" because of its name.

Yang Qi Temple is an amazing Buddhist temple, not only because Yang Qi Temple is adjacent to Yangqiling in the north, Hu Xiang in the southeast, Qiantang River, Fuchun River and Sanjiangkou in puyang river in the southwest, but also because it is a treasure trove of geomantic omen. Perhaps it is the emperor's favor, perhaps the ancient temple jungle scenery is quiet, far away from the hubbub, and Yang Qi Temple is full of beautiful things and incense, which often becomes the object of literati's chanting.

"Excuse me, where is the clock in the frosty sky? The boatwoman is pointing to Yang Qi Temple.". The "Yang Qizhong" of the ancient eight scenic spots in Xianghu Lake is as famous as the "Nanping Night Clock" in Jingci Temple. According to old books, in the old days, the tragic and wonderful tall buildings of Yang Qi Temple stood on the cliff, looming in the mist, ringing in the morning and evening, and entering the lake with the wind, with endless echoes.

The Yang Qi Century Bell weighs 12.8 tons, and was presented to Yang Qi Temple in Oriental Cultural Park by the Chinese Buddhist Association. It is 4 meters in total height and 2.6 meters in maximum diameter, making it the largest bronze bell in Jiangnan area so far. There are 56 lotus flowers symbolizing pure land on the top of the bronze bell, representing 56 nationalities in China. Buddhists believe that people have 108 kinds of troubles, and 108 Guanyin incarnates Buddha on a clock, which means that ringing a bell can drive away all your troubles. The main body of the bronze bell is engraved with the Mahayana Lotus Sutra in Sanskrit. There are 2 1 crane around the bronze bell, which shows that this bell was cast in 2 1 century and is known as the treasure clock of the century. There are four bergamot in the lower part of the bronze bell: Yang Liuzhi, which symbolizes auspicious life, represents spring, peaceful, clear and pure lotus, represents summer, symbolizes bumper harvest of wheat, represents autumn, and the fiery steam wheel represents winter. Don't forget to touch these four bergamots when you bump into Yang Qibao's bell, and make a wish for the next century (four seasons): peace in all seasons.

Over the years, Yang Qi Temple has experienced thousands of years of wind and rain, construction and destruction. From 65438 to 0998, Zhong Qiang Construction Engineering Group invested heavily in rebuilding Yang Qi Temple. Today, Yang Qi Temple has become a famous temple, where tourists from all over the country and Southeast Asia listen to the bells and feel the long history of Buddhist culture.

The Oriental Cultural Park, where "Yang Zhong Qi Sheng" is located, is laid out in the Eight Diagrams of Zhouyi, and the three buildings of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism are isomorphic. The 2,728-meter painted art corridor runs through eight scenic spots in the park, including Century Square, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Oriental Resort, 1,000-acre prairie, Shanrui scenic spot and world rare melon garden. When you visit the Oriental Cultural Park, you can fully feel the profound connotation and foundation of the traditional oriental culture.

Yang Qizhong, one of the eight scenic spots in Xianghu Lake, was once as famous as the night bell in Nanping, Jingci Temple. Yang Qizhong, one of the ten scenic spots in Xiaoshan, comes from Yang Qi Temple 12.8 ton "Century Treasure Bell", which is known as the "Bell King in the South of the Yangtze River". In the twilight, monks beat the big bell, which echoed in the valley and melodious on the lake.
