What is the function of the gun line?

A condenser microphone generally consists of a condenser head and a preamplifier. The capacitor tip needs a polarization voltage (except electret), and the preamplifier also needs electricity. The power they need is carried and supplied by signal lines, but it will not cause problems in signal transmission. This power supply method is called phantom power supply, so it is necessary to connect the gun line with a sound card (the gun head is the head that receives the microphone, with one male and one female on both sides). The gun line belongs to balanced transmission and has strong anti-interference. The condenser microphone requires to restore the real sound, and this line needs to be selected to ensure the sound quality, while others cannot guarantee the sound quality.
