20 17, 16 On February 6, 2006, with the demand for labor costs in China's economic development, about 60 million children stayed at home because their parents went out to work. Most of them come from poor rural areas. Although many migrant workers migrate from rural areas to cities to work, because big cities can't provide education and medical care for their children, they can only leave their children in their hometown to be raised by their grandparents.
