Beijing Film Academy, located in Beijing, is an art school approved by Beijing Municipal People's Government, People's Republic of China (PRC), State Administration of Radio and Television, People's Republic of China (PRC) and Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was the Performing Arts Research Institute of the Central Film Bureau, which was established in 1950.

According to the "Basic Requirements for Candidates Entering the National Postgraduate Entrance Examination in 2022" formulated by the Ministry of Education, the total score of all disciplines (degrees) and master's degrees in "Art" is not less than 36 1, political theory and foreign languages are not less than 40, and business courses are not less than 60.

The basic requirement for candidates who apply for the high-level talents program of ethnic minorities to enter the re-examination is that the total score is not less than 25 1, and candidates who are absent from a single subject are not allowed to participate in the re-examination.
