The third is the man-made smoky scene. In the early morning or evening, the smoke from the farmhouse and the smoke scattered in the fire will form a smoky shooting scene. Sometimes, in order to create a looming hazy atmosphere, photographers will order some cigarette cakes to create smoke, forming an artificial smoky scene, which will also have a good effect.

Pay attention to the following points when shooting foggy scenes:

First, control the exposure. When shooting a misty scene, the accuracy of exposure is a key issue. The images of foggy scenes are generally light gray and white, so it is appropriate to increase the exposure, usually by increasing the value of 0.5- 1EV. If the photometry is normal, there will often be underexposure. When the fog is thick in the scene, we can adjust the aperture to F8-F 1 1. In fog, I don't care too much about the depth of field, because fog will make distant scenery see farther. If it is light fog, we can adjust the aperture to F 16-F22. When exposed with a small aperture, the fog keeps rolling, so that the fog in the photo will look thicker than the actual one, and it will also look more dynamic.

Second, adjust the white balance. When shooting a smoky scene, the light white on the screen takes up a lot of space, so there are some skills to set the white balance. Before the sun takes off, due to the high color temperature, the fog often appears blue tone, so the white balance mode can be adopted on cloudy days, and the yellow tone will naturally be added to the picture to make the fog appear white. When the sun rises gradually and the color temperature of light tends to be normal, using automatic white balance can obtain more normal color reproduction.

Third, clever composition. When shooting a foggy scene, the main shape and color details of the picture are not easy to show, so try to choose a big scene with clear foreground, clear middle scene and clear vision when composing. Although the details of the foreground are poor, the close-range often becomes a clear visual focus, and the relationship between the foreground and the background is well handled, which can fully show the level of the picture and give people a strong impact.

Fourth, grasp the shooting opportunity. Shooting a shallow foggy sea of clouds can get a good sense of aerial perspective. Shooting a thick sea of clouds can create an illusory and mysterious atmosphere, giving people a very strong visual impact. In addition, when there is wind, the clouds will be distributed dynamically, which is the most ideal shooting opportunity. The clouds are changing rapidly, so photographers must accurately grasp the opportunity and decisively locate the shooting.
