What kinds of lenses are there?

There are four kinds of lenses, namely: standard lens, wide-angle lens, ultra-wide-angle lens and telephoto lens.

1, standard lens

A lens with a focal length close to the diagonal of the picture is called a standard lens (the viewing angle is 53 in this example). This has always been the definition of a standard lens, but it does not actually follow this definition.

2. Wide angle objective lens

A short-focus lens with a larger viewing angle than a standard lens. Generally, the diagonal viewing angle above 60 is called wide angle, and 80 ~ 1 10 is called super wide angle.

3. Super wide-angle lens.

Generally, a lens with a diagonal angle greater than 80 to 1 10 is called a super wide-angle lens. In the interchangeable lens of 35mm camera, there is a super wide-angle lens with the following focal length (viewing angle).

4. telephoto lens

Also known as telescope head or telephoto lens. A concave lens group is placed at a certain distance behind the convex lens group, similar to galileo telescope. The lens of this design is called telephoto lens. It can magnify distant objects, and the telephoto ratio is below 1. Compared with telephoto lens, the lens barrel can be shortened by 10%~20%, and the viewing angle is about a narrow angle below 30.

In film and television, the lens has two fingers, one refers to the optical components used by film cameras and projectors to produce images, the other refers to the continuous picture taken from power on to power off, or the fragment between two editing points, also known as the lens.
