How to show the sense of depth and space in plane space

1. Use size change

Space is expressed by size: things of the same size will have different sizes due to different distances, which are large near and small far away.

2. Take advantage of changes in reality

It is also the best way to express the sense of space by using the change of reality, while the change of emptiness often gives people a feeling of being close to reality and far from emptiness.

3. Take advantage of cold and warm changes

In real life, the distant mountains are blue, the nearby mountains are warm, and the blue of the distant mountains is caused by the blue scattered light in the air. When we say cool color, we mean that the object is blue-green, while warm color means that the object is yellow-red (such as the sun).

4. Use density relation

Small density changes in images or lines can create a sense of space. In reality, it's like a person is covered with dotted patterns, and the rolled patterns will become dense and have a small gap. The denser it is, the more distant it is.

Use overlapping performance

Many people like to keep the front elements as far away from the product as possible, and don't block the product. In fact, proper shading can also better show the sense of space. In graphic design, when one graphic is superimposed on another, there will be a sense of front and back, up and down, resulting in a sense of space.

6. Inclined bending change

Tilting or bending images can also create a sense of space, just like ordinary architectural photography. The design is realized by changing the direction of parallel lines: if you change the direction of parallel lines, you will have a three-dimensional sense.
