It is said that buying Canon is for high-end products, but this is not all due to vanity. I believe that for many people, 400d or 450d can be used as a good backup body, which can make up for the lack of flexibility of 1d or 5d in certain situations, and can effectively reduce the number of lenses carried (although there are some differences in focal lengths ); and for photography students, since they will use higher-end models sooner or later, it is always good to start with something like the 450d, after all, they will get started quickly in the future. And if you are still thinking about 5d, then you can buy a 450d first. Such enthusiasts can completely understand it.

In addition, k20d's features such as body anti-shake and photosensitive priority mode, which are very useful to enthusiasts, are different in the eyes of professional photographers - some people are even taboo about lens anti-shake, while Changing the sensitivity will affect the image quality to some extent; at the same time, the response speed of the Pentax body, especially the lens, makes many people have concerns about it. In the eyes of most photographers, "reliability" is sometimes more important than "style" because they have the ability to control the quality of their photos. The 450d and 40d machines cannot be said to be outstanding, but their overall performance is average and they have no special weaknesses. Sometimes "without" is better than "with", which is very important. At this time, you will feel that it will be much easier to at least join those two companies. If accessories such as external lights, handles, and shutter cables are frowned upon at best, what about off-site repairs? What if something goes wrong and I need to borrow a lens? If you want to put a usable machine in your bag when you go out, you might consider a Pentax for personal use (because it is indeed "unique"). For work, it will definitely be a Canon and Nikon. I admit that this is helpless, but this is the reality.

Now that the market is rich, there are more products to choose from and you can "play" as much as you want, which is a good thing. But when it comes to "use", it's better not to be arrogant, and it's better not to talk about focus accuracy and operational feel.
