Who is Wang?

Wang is a member of China Folk Photographers Association (directly recommended by former Minister of National Defense Zhang Aiping), and is a contracted photographer of Xinhua News Agency China Photo Agency. Opening his photo collection is like a nutritious spiritual feast, which gives people a strong sense of art and reflects his superb photography ability and extraordinary artistic creativity. As a photographic artist, he "sketched" great men and small people with skillful skills, and portrayed colorful characters with its historicity, record and profundity. His works are rigorous in composition and full of aesthetic feeling, with both magnificent natural scenery and gentle, delicate, simple and pure folk customs.

Wang has been interested in photography since 1979 joined the army. During his five years in the army, he filmed a large number of military works reflecting the life of the army and the deep feelings of the soldiers and civilians. He has published hundreds of excellent pictures in the People's Liberation Army Daily, People's Daily, mass photography and other newspapers, won many "excellent journalists", awarded the prize 10 more than once, and won the third place four times. 1984' s semi-monthly talk has built a broad platform for the development of his photographic talent and the improvement of his photographic skills. Over the past 20 years, he has traveled to 3/kloc-0 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, more than 260 cities and nearly 1,000 counties and townships all over the country, leaving his diligent and solid footprints in the north and south of the Yangtze River, enjoying a panoramic view of China's elegance. In 2000, Wang participated in a delegation of senior journalists from Xinhua News Agency visiting the United States. During his short 15-day trip to America, he shot 65,438+000 films with three cameras and nearly 5,000 works with digital photography. He presses the shutter once every second on average, and his works cover all fields of American society, politics, economy and culture.

In September 2005, Wang attended the 40th anniversary of the founding of Tibet with the central delegation, and went to the snowy plateau thousands of miles away to overcome the discomfort of lack of oxygen on the plateau. He recorded the magnificent and magical Xuefeng Canyon and deep temples again with his lens, leaving Tibetans and Tibetan people with strong local customs and vivid national pictures. We can also appreciate the mystery and emptiness of Tibetan Buddhist culture from his works.

Wang is not only a photographer who is good at capturing and discovering beauty, but also has profound insights and perfect connotations. In recent years, he is still a well-known figure active in Beijing's media planning field, and won the honorary titles of "Best Media Planning Award in China" in the second annual meeting of China Planning and the first China Zhuge Liang Award, the Top Ten New Coordinates Award in China Planning in 2004, and the "Love Ambassador" in China Journalists' Festival in 2004.
