Scenes and props layout

In Zhan Ji, director Joseph Cousin used a full set of props to design and make designers to combine realistic shooting and computer drawing into CGI movies. The resplendent Shangri-La Hotel in Vancouver is the headquarters of Yingkang Company. As Sam's sea containers dock at Vancouver Wharf, a magnificent city outline has emerged. There are other props, such as Flynn's arcade, Kevin's secret lab, and the "Terminal" bar, which are arranged in the six studios of the film crew.

Design group

There are about 20 to 25 designers in the crew, who come from completely different artistic fields. Their joint efforts transformed the creative inspiration of director joseph kosinski and his creative team into real props and scenes. The work involves all the details, from the positioning parts in the real world, the blue screen combined with the real building, to the props scenes created entirely by numbers. There are about 60 to 70 unique designs in the film, not including 15 scenes that will leave a deep impression on the audience and are completely designed by computer layers.

Shooting process

A lot of filming was done in Vancouver's studio. Filmmakers think they can easily find a location base suitable for movies in the city and shoot scenes. In order to realize the virtual scene in the film, it is necessary to coordinate three or five cutting-edge technologies that have never been used before. In order to achieve the effect, the crew filmed the longest street in the city from the highest roof.
