Where to play on Changshu's New Year's Day?

As a famous historical figure in Changshu, Jiangsu, I know something about Ceng Pu, but I am very strange to Zeng Yuan. After the recommendation of high school students, I said that I could enjoy wintersweet during the Spring Festival, so I chose Zeng Garden (actually Zeng Zhaoyuan, Zeng Zhaoyuan) on the first day of the New Year's Day. Because there are not many people in the park, it feels very good to be quiet in the noise. Photography/Huang Hua

Zengyuan, formerly known as Xukuo Garden, was originally a part of the ruins of Little Wang Chuan Garden, which was supervised and built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. During the Tongzhi period of Qing Dynasty, the Zeng family bought it, and famous modern writers and translators spent their youth and old age here. Zhaoyuan Garden, also known as Water Dance Garden, is adjacent to Zengyuan Garden and was originally a part of the site of Little Wang Chuan Garden. During the Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, Zhao Liewen, a Yang Laker who resigned from his post and lived in Changshu, rebuilt this garden and became a famous garden in the south of the Yangtze River. June 5438+October 2005 10, the two gardens were renovated and merged and opened to the outside world, which was called "Zeng Zhaoyuan". Photography/Huang Hua

This year's Lunar New Year's Day is already May 9, and the traditional saying is to look at willows along the river in May 1969. Today, when I visited the garden with my family, I saw not only green willows, but also plum blossoms. Photography/Huang Hua

I thought the plum blossoms in Zeng Zhaoyuan were all red, but I didn't expect this pale yellow wintersweet to be unusually bright. Photography/Huang Hua

Ceng Pu was born in Changshu on March 1872. The pen name Sick Man of East Asia, a famous patriotic writer in modern times, is recognized as one of the four condemnation novels in the late Qing Dynasty. Ceng Pu Memorial Hall is located in Zengyuan's "Immortality of Gentlemen" room, which fully shows Ceng Pu's life and peaceful deeds. Photography/Huang Hua
