As in previous years, the track of this100km mountain Ma Song cross-country race is still selected in the Yellow River Stone Forest Scenic Area. Previously, Baiyin City has been held here for four consecutive sessions.

At the beginning of the year, I have been to the Yellow River Stone Forest. As soon as I set foot here, I was shocked by the strange landform in front of me.

Shilin Scenic Area is located in Longwan Village, Zhongquan Township, Jingtai County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province. When the Yellow River flows through here from the southeast, it is blocked by Wuquanshan conglomerate formed by Quaternary glaciers in the early Pleistocene, and then flows north to Ningxia, suddenly cutting a canyon.

The highest peak of the scenic spot is Datai Huaiding, with an altitude of 3017.8m, and the lowest point is the Yellow River Valley, with an altitude of1480m and a drop of1000m. The road on the ridge shown in the picture is a section of the marathon track.

From the air, the terrain here is generally high in the southwest and northeast, and low in the middle.

The scenic spots are criss-crossed and deserted, and people walking in them are like walking into a maze. Without guidance, it is easy to get lost.

There are donkey carts to ride in the scenic spot, and of course it costs extra money. If you are traveling alone, it is also good to rent a donkey cart with a guide and explanation.

Now they are the tourist attractions of National Geopark and Baiyin City.

In addition to a passage frequented by tourists, there are eight ditches, including Panlonggou, Chakougou and Yinmagou, and dozens of caves. In such a complex terrain, if you lose your way, the consequences will be unimaginable.

It is precisely because of the steep and wild features here that it has become the location shooting base for many film and television dramas. The famous "Granary in the World" and "Dunhuang in the Desert" were all filmed here.

Silver has entered summer in May, but it is located in the transition zone between the Loess Plateau and Tengger Desert, and the temperature difference between morning and evening is still very large. It is said that most of these players who lost their lives fell down because of temperature loss.
