When PS edits photos, how to dig out what you want with a pen tool?

The first step: matting. Click Pen Tool, and then you can click OK to cut the picture on the screen. When the last datum coincides with the first datum, the cutting is completed. Hold down Ctrl to change the position of the benchmark; If you hold down Shift, you can place the datum vertically.

Step 2: Change the path of the selected area. After the first step is completed, the edge of the cut part is a straight line. Press "Ctrl+Enter" at this time, and the straight line will become a dotted line.

Step 3: Delete the unselected areas. Click the selection tool button (on the same panel as the pen tool, under the selection tool), right-click the selected drawing, select Reverse Selection, and then press the backspace key to delete the unselected areas.

Step 4: Adjust the edges. There is an item called "Adjust Edge" in the top toolbar. Click it, and then adjust the parameters such as radius and feathering to make the edge less stiff.

Step 5: Save. Save in psd format, or save in png format if the file is too large.
