In the season when rapeseed flowers bloom, Erguan Village is waiting for you.
A little-known mountain village that was once raised in a boudoir that no one knew about. In recent years, with the in-depth development of local eco-tourism, her mysterious veil has finally been unveiled. Every time the rapeseed flowers bloom, During the season, tourists from all over the world come here, intoxicated and never want to leave. This is Erguan Village, known as the "modern version of Peach Blossom Land".
Erguanzhai is located in the southwest of Shengjiaba Township, Enshi City, with a total area of ??37·6 square kilometers and an average altitude of 1,000 meters. It has 5 natural villages with its own characteristics, the most distinctive of which is the small village. There are two ancient villages: Xixi and Jiupu.
Before this, I only knew a little about Erguan Village through word of mouth from friends and information in my circle of friends. It wasn’t until I followed the Rhenium Hiba Hiking Team to visit this place in person last Saturday that I deeply felt its simple beauty. , the beauty of tranquility.
At nine o'clock in the morning on this day, the weather was sunny. A group of 30 of us set off from Enshi in six cars. We arrived at Erguan Village two hours later and walked from the visitor center to the creek.
After walking a few steps, we heard the sound of running water. What appeared in front of us was the Xiaoxi River. A covered bridge (locally called Liangqiao) was erected on the river. The covered bridge was at three points. It makes a ninety-degree turn at one point, and then goes straight across the river to the other side. On the other side of the river is the Hu Family Courtyard. Looking from a distance, the wooden walls, black tiles, and green trees are whirling. The original simple colors actually become gleaming under the bright sun.
The water in the creek is crystal clear. Under the sunlight, the waves sparkle and sing happily all the way down. Friends flocked to the river in small groups, some splashed in the water, some took photos, and some bought snacks in front of the tent, chirping like sparrows exploding their nests.
After checking the information, Xiaoxi River is one of the sources of Wujiang River, with a total length of about 20 kilometers. The upper reaches 5 kilometers are mountain canyons, the middle reaches 6 kilometers form a natural village, and the lower reaches 8 kilometers reach the Malu River. Canyon lot.
Xiaoxi Hu Family Courtyard is a complex of Tujia stilted buildings. It is divided into three areas: Shangba, Zhongba and Xiaba. It is home to more than 100 families surnamed Hu.
We climbed up the steps and walked into the Hu family compound in Shangba. There were wooden houses on both sides of the road, including a courtyard. The layout was not as compact as the courtyards in Beijing. There were spaces between each house. There is a certain distance, and the steps in front of the house are covered with moss marks. An old man is sitting in front of the wooden house opposite. His granddaughter sometimes plays around his knees and sometimes wants to hug him. A white cat squats at his feet, peaceful and leisurely. According to the old man, there are more than 20 families surnamed Hu living in this area, and more than ten generations of ancestors have lived here for almost three hundred years. I asked the old man if the family named Hu had two high-ranking officials, so it was named "Er-Guan Village". The old man didn't agree, but he didn't tell me why.
In the creek, there is a remaining section of the ancient Bayan Road, where three hundred years of vicissitudes can be seen. Nowadays, the ancient road has long been abandoned, but the hard work and entrepreneurial spirit of the Ba people will not disappear with the passage of time, but will shine and be honored in the inheritance from generation to generation. (For more details about the Bayan Ancient Road, please pay attention to Tao Yu's other work - "The Watcher" who visited the Bayan Ancient Road deep in the mountains)
Being busy tea-picking on the eve of the Qingming Festival, this season is small The tea garden in Xixi is also a beautiful scenery. Along the way, you can always see the busy figures of tea pickers. Look at the pointed buds exposed, which are translucent green. If you smell them close to your nostrils, you will feel refreshed. Friends walked into the tea garden and experienced the fun of picking tea. The rose-red clothes added a lot of color to the green tea garden.
The rapeseed flowers in the creek are in full bloom, but they are much inferior to those in the old shops. If you want to enjoy the rapeseed flowers, you should go to the old shops.
We took a bus to the old shop. We could see scattered rapeseed flowers along the way. We smelled the fragrance of the flowers and felt so happy.
The vehicle was driving slowly down the winding mountain road. We found an excellent observation point halfway up the mountain and parked the vehicle on the side of the road. Opposite is the old shop, there is a village in the mountains, there are fields in the village, there is a river in front of the village, and there are mountains and forests behind the village. The most eye-catching thing is the patches of rapeseed flowers, with touches of golden color, as if nature has intentionally overturned its own palette and allowed the golden paint to spill onto this precious land. The road winds around the fields, white and bright, as if sending a white ribbon to the village. The depth of the ribbon is the Kang family courtyard of the ancient village.
After turning one corner after another, we finally came to the old shop.
After getting off the car, hundreds of acres of rapeseed fields appeared before our eyes. We came at the right time. Thousands of rapeseed flowers were blooming with all their strength, and bursts of floral fragrance came to the nostrils, attracting bees to collect honey.
The friends cheered and went straight to the rapeseed field. The colorful clothes instantly dived into the sea of ??flowers. People were making noise among the flowers, and the flowers were laughing among the people. It was unclear whether it was the people who decorated the flowers. Flowers are still the foil for people. At the suggestion of team leader Yang Hui, everyone gathered on the field ridge and arranged various POS in an orderly manner. The accompanying photographer kept pressing the camera shutter. The friends in the camera are all smiling like flowers. That is the happiness written on their faces!
In addition to admiring rapeseed flowers in the old shops, the ancient village of Kangjia Courtyard is also a must-see.
The Kangjia Courtyard now has more than 100 Tujia stilted buildings that are well preserved, with a construction area of ??more than 2,000 square meters. They are arranged with eight courtyards in four directions, with the "Wujin Hall" in the middle. The building scale is very large. Spectacular.
Why do the Tujia people build houses in this style?
According to historical records, the officials of successive dynasties implemented a policy of stationing troops to suppress the Tujia people, driving the Tujia people into the deep mountains and old forests. Due to the very poor living conditions and the lack of farmland and land, the Tujia people had to live on the cliffs and steep slopes. Repair the stilted building. "Old Book of Tang Dynasty" said: "The rustic atmosphere is full of miasma, and the mountains have poisonous weeds and sand vipers. People live side by side on the floor, and climbing up the stairs is called a stilt." This kind of stilt structure house is the Tujia stilted building.
"Living Fossil". Just like the stilted building complex we saw in the Hu Family Courtyard and the Kang Family Courtyard, they are both practical and ornamental.
With the tourism craze brought about by the development of local eco-tourism, most of the stilted buildings here have been renovated and used to receive foreign tourists. They provide one-stop services for food and accommodation, which are economical and affordable, and are very suitable for foreign tourists. of tourists. If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city, you might as well put down the tedious things at hand temporarily. If you stay here for ten days and a half, your heart will be cleansed and made clear and peaceful.
Jiupu is also the only place that ancient salt merchants must pass from Longshan in Hunan to Lichuan and Wanxian. It is located in the upper reaches of the Malu River. The mountains are dangerous and the water is fast. Traveling along the river requires wading forty-eight times. In the middle of the river There are jumping pits made of big stones. If you are interested and courageous, you might as well invite a few friends with adventure experience to experience it, and you can also enjoy the excellent original ecological scenery along the way.
The outing trip to Erguanzhai ended in three hours. This short encounter already made me fall in love with it hopelessly. Every time I breathed in and out, I was filled with its breath. A place where I still want to go.
