Both machines use the same "artifact" sensor as Nikon and Pentax intermediate SLR, and the image quality is no problem. The focusing accuracy of the two machines is lower than that of Nikon D7000, which is equivalent to that of Pentax K5, but the price is quite cheap, which is another way to play.
