Plot summary

"Zombie Priest" Lin Zhengying[1] is another supernatural film. On a dark and windy night, Wu Yaohan, a Taoist priest from Maoshan Mountain with half a bucket of water, came to a small town with his two little devils because he failed to find food in a village. He happened to meet Wang Po, one of the gangsters, who used Maoshan magic after committing a robbery. And got away with it. That night, Wu and the kid had dinner in a restaurant and met Lou Nanguang. The kid Dabao was playing tricks on Lou, but he provoked Lou's master, Maoshan Taoist Lin Zhengying. He noticed in time and took the kid into Menglu. Wu begged Lin for mercy, revealed his cousin relationship with Xiao Gui, and begged Lin to let Dabao go. Lin taught them that humans and ghosts cannot cooperate on the same journey, otherwise they would waste their energy, and Lou was forced to swear a poisonous oath to the God of Yuanshi Tianzun. In the end, Lin Yun released Lu, but the two had to go their separate ways.

However, the gangsters came again, took away Dabao, and asked Dabao to attack the people wearing Taoist robes. The gangster Wang Po went to save the two companions who were hostages, but failed, and finally died at the bottom of the well. However, the ghosts of the two companions He fell into the body of a fellow townie...
