Where is the source and destination of Ganjiang River?

The source of Ganjiang River is Shicheng, Jiangxi Province, and the end point is Wucheng.

Ganjiang River is one of the main tributaries of the Yangtze River and a larger river in Jiangxi Province. It is located on the south bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Its source is at the western foot of Wuyi Mountain at the junction of Jiangxi and Fujian, and it runs through the whole province from south to north. Thirteen main tributaries flow into it, with a total length of 766 kilometers and a drainage area of 83,500 square kilometers. From Heyuan to Ganzhou is the upstream, called Gongshui, which is called Ganjiang after taking Zhangshui from Ganzhou City.

Gongshui is 255 kilometers long and runs between canyons and hills. Ganzhou to Xingan is the middle reaches, with a total length of 303 kilometers, and Xingan to Wucheng is the downstream, with a total length of 208 kilometers. The river is wide, there are many sandbars, and dikes are built on both sides. Ganzhou is connected with the Yangtze River through Poyang Lake, which is not only the main artery of water transportation in Jiangxi Province, but also an integral part of the Jiangxi-Guangdong Canal in the long-term planning.
