The Bund 18, built in 1923, is a classic municipal protected building with a history of 84 years. The Bund 18, formerly known as Macquarie Bank, is the headquarters of Standard Chartered Bank in China, which was built in 1923. Since the relocation of Standard Chartered Bank in 1955, it has been used by many companies. The four ancient Greek marble columns at the entrance of the restored Bund 18 building are original and mysteriously come from the Italian church 200 years ago.
Two special three-meter-high red glass chandeliers are all assembled from hollow glass tubes, and each lamp is assembled from 185 parts. The dazzling 24-carat Massek murals in the hall are all hand-made. It has been built into an internationally renowned center of fashion, jewelry, watches, food, entertainment and art.
The Bund 18 is a song sung by Yuan Chengjie and Stephy. Written by Qin Tian and composed by Qin Tian and Lv Wen, it is included in the album love city, the theme song of the light comedy "Do you still love me tomorrow". In 2007, the song won the cool dog song of the year, and in 2008, it won the top ten in the sixth Southeast Pop Music List and the top ten in the 15 Oriental Billboard.
