This film is great, shooting the war between Russia and Georgia from the perspective of American journalists, and bringing the documentary to life. I solemnly quoted an American famous saying at the beginning: the first victim of war is truth. The first sentence at the beginning is that the play is based on real history, and then it begins to say rhythmically that 500 war reporters died. I want to dedicate this film to them. Not to mention beautiful countryside cattle, the ability to reverse black and white is also perfect. From the perspective of American journalists, the film lists various actions of Russia in the process of invading Georgia, including killing civilians, indiscriminate bombing and tearing up ceasefire agreements. Today, let's walk into this American-made Russian invasion movie "The Five-Day War". Interested friends can look at my explanation. After all, the original film has seen three views of destruction.

In 2008, when the Beijing Olympic Games was in full swing, the South Ossetia war broke out between Russia and Georgia. Since August 1, there have been several exchanges of fire between Georgia and South Ossetia. In the early morning of August 8, Georgia launched a full-scale military operation, quickly controlled more than two-thirds of South Ossetia and surrounded its capital Tskhinvali.

Russia formally invaded Georgia and took the lead in launching the attack. Russian troops, tanks and helicopter gunships crossed the border. A full-scale attack was launched on Grukia, and four Russian fighter planes flew over the village, aiming at the house accurately and bombing directly. Then, a large number of Russian mercenaries broke into the village, and the mercenaries gathered the villagers together. Find out the village chief and the police chief, cut their throats and demonstrate directly, then pour gasoline on them, set fire to them, and helicopter gunships bombard them in the air. Panicked civilians fled for their lives, women were robbed, men were killed on the spot, and soldiers stood in front of the bodies and took pictures to show off. The village was ransacked and was in ruins under the bombing of helicopter gunships.

In order to beautify Georgia, the film forcibly added a lame story that a war correspondent was rescued by Georgian peacekeeping forces, which became the original motive force for war correspondent Andrew to risk his life to record Russian atrocities.

At this time, Andrew and his colleagues were attending a local wedding, and suddenly four Russian fighters suddenly came at high speed. Bombing houses, after the bombing, the wedding scene was a mess, many guests fell in a pool of blood, and the bride cried bitterly with the murdered groom in her arms. All this has been recorded by photographers, and this is just the beginning. Then Andrew drove the wounded to the local hospital.

The next day, Andrew met Thalia who was looking for his lost family. After talking, he decided to help Thalia go to the northern village where his family lived. On the way, the officer warned them that if they saw someone wearing a white armband and a black hood, they must not shoot, and they must run away, otherwise they would die. As these people are foreign armed forces supported by the Russian military, Andrew bid farewell to the officers and drove to a hotel, successfully finding Thalia's sister and father. However, before they were happy, several Russian warplanes roared across the sky, accurately locked the houses and bombed them directly.

The next day, when everything was calm, Andrew woke up from his sleep. He came out alone and enjoyed the rare peace in the orchard. At this moment, the ground suddenly trembled slightly, and then on the hillside in the distance, a large number of troops were crossing the border, soldiers with white armbands and black hoods. Behind him were some tanks and helicopter gunships, which approached the village angrily. Andrew suddenly realized that something was wrong and ran back to wake everyone up and hide. Soon, Russian troops broke into the village, and the soldiers strafed with machine guns, driving out all the villagers nearby. Everyone gathered by a river, and the chief wanted to see their village head and sheriff, but no one dared to admit it.

Then the police dragged an old woman out and shot her in the leg three times. The old woman fell into the stream and cried bitterly. At this time, the village chief and the sheriff came out voluntarily, and the soldiers went forward and cut their throats directly, then poured gasoline on them and set them on fire. The raging fire burned the body to ashes. All this was photographed by several people hiding in the distance, and then the chief ordered all the villagers to be killed, and the villagers fled everywhere. Helicopters in the air aimed at civilians and fired missiles for bombing. Then, the soldiers began to sweep the village, taking away anything useful or exchangeable. Women were robbed, men were killed on the spot, and livestock in the village were also the targets of their robbery. A girl was forced to ride a bicycle for their entertainment, all the houses were bombed and destroyed by helicopters, and the villagers fled to the street and had nowhere to hide. The life of unarmed villagers is like ants, and the ubiquitous tanks and soldiers may kill them at any time. Andrew panicked and hid in a house. The soldiers searched everywhere when a young soldier came in to search. He suddenly heard the child crying, opened his clothes and found a couple hiding inside. Looking at those panicked eyes, the young soldier relented and let them go. But when he just went out to report that no one was there, the child's crying alarmed other mercenaries, and they immediately shot and threatened the people inside. Andrew and others had to come out to identify themselves as journalists, only to be shot down by the other side, and the officer came over and found the camera they used to shoot. Then they were taken to the Russian military commander, who found on the Internet that Andrew had reported on the Iraq war before.

He asked the photographer to tell the password of the memory card, and the photographer asked the other commander to turn on the camera, but that was just the wedding scene taken before. The photographer in the cell quietly told Andrew that the Russian army did not find evidence of killing civilians because he replaced the memory card on the camera in advance, and that memory card is now hidden in his hiding house. The commander interrogated Andrew and the photographer respectively. Just as he was about to press the photographer, a Georgian commando suddenly broke through the window and entered. All the armed personnel on the scene were killed. They are the same team that escorted Andrew and others here before. Then the motorcade quickly rushed into the basement to rescue Thalia and others, and the heavily armed Russian elite was directly killed. It's really cool.

Then the motorcade quickly fled to prepare for evacuation, and the mercenaries outside tried to intercept it, and the two sides launched a fierce battle. Seeing more and more enemies, mercenary tanks are also advancing rapidly. In an emergency, they started the car and ran away. Just then, a shell of the tank came. Fortunately, the car turned the corner and hid smoothly. But the mercenaries didn't stop there. They are in hot pursuit, and the team can only retreat and fight back. Then Andrew suddenly remembered that the memory card had not been brought back, which was a strong evidence to make the Russian crimes public. Andrew had to go back to the house where he had been hiding and get his memory card back. The mercenary bit the squad like a madman, and the squad and the mercenary fought. A tank fired shells again, and the conductor set up a shoulder-mounted rocket launcher. When a rocket went down, the vehicle behind it was directly blown over.

At the same time, Andrew successfully got the memory card back. Then they quickly joined the team. At this time, two armed men brought Thalia's father out. Just as his little daughter got up and shouted, a bullet hit her in the middle of the abdomen, and then a shot directly knocked her out of the car. However, the car did not stop, watching my sister's body gradually leave her. Talia is so sad at the moment that she can do nothing.

After the war, mercenaries lit cars to celebrate the victory, soldiers fired guns and shouted slogans, and innocent villagers left the village with their children. Since then, I have lived a vagrant life. In Grice, eight helicopter gunships circled in the air. Andrew and several others came here with the team. They saw Georgian troops and civilians withdraw from Grice. The captain asked the soldiers what was going on, and the soldiers told them that the President had ordered a unilateral ceasefire and all troops would return to Tiberius to defend the capital. The captain was very angry. He said that he would not leave easily and would not abandon his country. He will continue to fight. Now they must find a place with a media center and publish all the evidence they have taken in front of people all over the world. Then the motorcade went retrograde into the city, and now all the vehicles driving here have become targets of Russian attacks, and Russian helicopters are sweeping the city. The ground troops will arrive soon, and they need to find a place to take refuge. However, during their escape, they met another group of war reporters who happened to have a satellite communication car for them to use. At this time, the mercenaries' ground troops entered the city and bombed with tanks. There was a fierce battle between the two sides.

Andrew and others uploaded the recording soon, but it took a few minutes. At this moment, Russian helicopter gunships found them, and the video was about to be uploaded, but the helicopter gunships had locked them, and the photographer had to unplug the memory card to avoid danger. The helicopter immediately fired rockets, and the communication vehicle was instantly blown up. The helicopter gunship also found several other colleagues and immediately fired another shot at them. The rocket directly hit the vehicle next to him, and two colleagues were instantly swallowed up by the fire. Seeing that the Russian helicopter was so arrogant, the team leader immediately set up a rocket launcher to aim at the other side. The rocket was accurately launched and the helicopter crashed on the spot. The onlookers were ecstatic for no reason and celebrated the staged victory. Just as Andrew left, the building behind him was attacked by a large number of rockets, and the whole building was completely destroyed. Mercenary armored tanks also arrived here, and the city square was surrounded by them. The only remaining government troops and civilians helped each other, and the tank slowly approached and finally stopped in front of them. The mercenary commander said, get out of here, there has been enough killing here. After the video shot by Anders and others was exposed, it successfully attracted the attention of the international community. Finally, with the coordination of international parties, Georgia and Russia stopped the war and the five-day fighting finally ended. Andrew's colleagues were also arranged to go to the hospital for treatment, and the film ended here.

The film "The Five-Day War" is based on real events and tells the story of the war between Russia and Georgia for control of South Ossetia in August 2008 from the perspective of American journalists. This is an American war film, which aims to discredit Russia.

The war lasted for five days, and the Russian army participated in military operations, but the main body of burning, killing and looting was the South Ossetian Volunteers. Because from the outside world, the Russian army has no intention to do such a thing. However, in the face of the Georgian army, which is much weaker than itself, the Russian military action was not very successful. Actions often fail because of the cooperation of various arms. This is something that Russia itself has to admit.

During the war, Georgia's allies did not participate in the aid, and the condemnation was extremely pale and powerless in the face of actual military action. Obviously, weak countries have no diplomacy.

This film takes the audience back to the corner that was not noticed by the world in the summer of 2008 by documentary photography. As a film, there is not much to be praised, but the truth it reveals needs everyone to think about. War is a politician's game, but it is a humanitarian disaster for ordinary people.
