Zhoucun, an ancient commercial and cultural city with a long history of 300 years. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Zhoucun was developed in industry and commerce, and was known as "dry dock", "Jinzhou village" and "hometown of silk". 1750, was given the reputation of "the first village in the world" by Emperor Qianlong. Zhoucun Ancient Shopping Mall is located in the center of the old city. It is mainly composed of three ancient commercial streets: Dajie, Shi Si Street and Yinzi Street. Today's tax exemption sign is a hexagonal stone tablet standing at the northern end of the street, which records the moving story of Li Huaxi, a historical figure who has made great contributions to the commercial and economic development of Zhoucun. In the eleventh year of Qing Shunzhi, Li Huaxi resigned and returned to his hometown. He saw that some local tyrants in Zhoucun were bullying, taxes were aggravated, and the normal trading order was difficult to preserve. He asked the government to reduce a batch of wasteland taxes, and he also paid all the city taxes, and set up a "no tax today" monument in the north of Dajiekou, making Zhoucun the first "bonded zone" in the history of China. The pulp dyeing industry is one of the main industries in Zhoucun in the late Ming Dynasty. At first, it was dyed cotton cloth, and by the end of Qing Dynasty, it became a famous silk processing base in China. Its business model is similar to the TV series Big Dyeing Workshop. Now, from the mottled walls on both sides of the old street, you can still vaguely find the remains of the silk shop of that year. Yonghe, Tonghe, Henghe and He Qian are time-honored brands, reflecting the prosperity of Zhoucun silk and printing and dyeing industry. Later, there was a saying that "world silk looks at China, China silk looks at Shandong, Shandong silk looks at Zibo, and Zibo silk looks at Zhoucun". In Zhoucun, the ancient city, there are thousands of Buddhist temples, Sanyitang, Kuixing Pavilion, ticket number exhibition hall, Zhoucun baked wheat cake workshop and other scenic spots 10, which is the main cultural landscape of Zhoucun ancient shopping mall. Today, after hundreds of years of wind and rain, the ancient shopping mall is still well preserved, and it has been praised as "Living Museum Group of Ancient Commercial Buildings in China" and "Living Millennium Ancient Shopping Mall" by China ancient architecture protection experts.
