Of the two, technology is more important and the equipment threshold is relatively low. You can really take good photos with more than 3000 SLR, and it is no problem to use it in news reports or portraits or travel photos.

But with the same camera model, professional and amateur are absolutely different. In other words, the first place is artistic accomplishment, then technology, and finally equipment. Of course, the more advanced equipment, the better. Some effects require equipment. This is why professionals usually need 2-3 sets of lenses at present.
