Shooting skills of fashion models
Usually we see the model in the photo, very beautiful, very beautiful. I share the shooting skills of fashion models for you, I hope you like it!
Preparatory work/about to start work
1. Make sure the clothes are in the best condition. There should be no stains on the clothes, no buttons that look loose, and obvious threads should be cut off.
2. Just ironing clothes is the best shooting condition, especially shirts and trousers, but some subtle wrinkles like jeans are more natural. When the clothes are ready, they can be placed on a flat surface, or they can be photographed by models.
Clothing plane shooting
If you put it on a flat surface, try to spread the clothes out so that people can see the overall design of the clothes. If you shoot a folded shirt, you will not let the audience see the length of the sleeves.
The model wears clothes suitable for shooting.
If you photograph the clothes worn by the model, make sure that the clothes are natural. You can choose to include the model's face or just focus on clothes, depending on your idea. Have some needles at hand to adjust the state of the dress and make it look more perfect.
background
For any photo, the background can't stand out more than the clothes you want to take. White and gray backgrounds are good. The same is true for shooting in model clothes. There shouldn't be anyone stealing backstage.
lighting equipment
When shooting clothes placed on a flat surface, choosing soft lighting effects will bring good results to your clothes.
If it is a model, you can put a lamp on each side of the model. This can avoid the strong shadow produced by a single lamp. It's best to have a soft box so that the clothes look natural. Using brighter light sources can make clothes look closer to its true color. Put a lamp behind the model to illuminate the background and make the model stand out from the background. As long as you can see the front of the clothes, there is no big problem with a little more shadow.
When shooting, the camera should be placed directly above the clothes. You can choose different angles to shoot the model according to the different parts you want to show. The zoom lens is good when shooting small pieces, but if you want to shoot a model, it is best to have a wide angle, just 18-55, and of course you can't miss a tripod.
Shooting details
Take some close-ups of those interesting little details. Clothes lying flat are easier to shoot, while models need to try several times to get the best shooting angle. Generally speaking, more attention is paid to the details of clothes than to including the whole body and part of the background of the model in the photo.
later stage
Be careful not to include imperfections in the background when shooting. In most cases, there is no need for more complicated post-adjustment except cutting and adjusting contrast and brightness in the later stage of clothing photography. If the pre-polishing is good enough, there is basically no need for post-adjustment. Shooting with a model may require post-editing, but it is limited to the adjustment of the model's own defects.
Finally, a little advice, as long as you remember a few key points of a clothing photo, that is, cleaning, ironing, neutral background and soft lighting, in fact, clothing shooting in online stores is very easy.
