What do I need to provide for OfficeScan copyright application?

1. Fill in the application for work registration, work registration form and right guarantee, and submit the original and photocopy of the work and the description of the work (describing the creative idea, main features and contents of the work, etc.). );

2. The identity certificate of the applicant;

3. Where the copyright owner applies for the registration of a commissioned creation, it shall also submit a copy of the ID card of the copyright owner and creator (if the copyright owner and creator are units, a copy of the business license or legal person code certificate and a copy of the ID card of the legal representative shall be submitted), the original and a copy of the commissioned creation contract or agreement;

4. If a cooperative work applies for registration, it shall also submit a copy of the ID card of the co-author (if the co-author is a unit, a copy of the business license or legal person code certificate and a copy of the ID card of the legal representative), the original and a copy of the co-creation contract or agreement;

5. To apply for the registration of job works, a copy of the author's ID card, a copy of the business license or legal person code certificate of the copyright owner or exclusive user, a copy of the legal representative's ID card, the employment contract and the original and copy of the copyright ownership certificate shall be submitted;

6. When applying for the registration of artistic works or photographic works, the applicant shall submit two photos of the works (no more than 3R, which can be printed by computer) in addition to the above-mentioned relevant materials, one of which shall be posted in the lower left margin of the Application for the Registration of Works, and the other shall be submitted together with the materials.

Trial measures for voluntary registration of works

Article 1 These Measures are formulated in order to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of authors or other copyright owners and users of works, help solve copyright disputes caused by copyright ownership, and provide preliminary evidence for solving copyright disputes.

Article 2 The registration of works shall be voluntary. Whether a work is registered or not does not affect the copyright obtained by the author or other copyright owners according to law.

Article 3 Copyright bureaus of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government shall be responsible for the registration of works by authors or other copyright owners within their respective jurisdictions. The National Copyright Administration is responsible for the work registration of authors and other copyright owners in foreign countries and Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong and Macao.

Article 4 The applicant for the registration of a work shall be the author, other citizens enjoying copyright, legal persons or unincorporated entities, exclusive rights holders and their agents.

Article 5 A work under any of the following circumstances shall not be registered by the work registration authority: 1. Works not protected by copyright law; 2. Works whose copyright protection period has expired; 3. Works whose publication and dissemination are prohibited according to law.
