The mystery of the Tianchi monster in Changbai Mountain is the most mysterious, and many witnesses have written articles about it. From June 65438 to July 0995, many people saw monsters appear several times in a row, which made them as influential as the Bermuda Triangle, UFOs and the Loch Ness Monster, and became the object of world attention and research. Tianchi Lake is 2 189 meters above sea level, with a water depth of 373 meters, a water area of 9.82 square kilometers, 2 billion cubic meters of accumulated water, an annual average temperature of -7.3℃, 258 days of snow every year, and the deepest snow reaches 3 meters. It is the highest, largest and coldest alpine lake in China. Tianchi is located at the top of the mountain, with harsh natural environment, surrounded by peaks, no vegetation, little organic matter and plankton in the water, and no food for large animals to survive. However, for a hundred years, the "Tianchi monster" has been a strange phenomenon in Tianchi, and it has been spread to the gods, leaving many suspense and puzzles.

county annals

The most authoritative works in Changbai Mountain, such as Fengtian Tongzhi, Jianggang Zhilue of Changbai Mountain, Changbai Club Lu Zheng, etc., have detailed records and descriptions of Tianchi monster. As early as the thirty-fourth year of Guangxu (1908), Liu Jianfeng, a member of Ji Feng Boundary Demarcation Committee, wrote in Jianggang Records of Changbai Mountain: "A monster emerged in Tianchi Lake, with a golden yellow head as big as a basin, horns on the top and many long items. The hunter thought it was a dragon. " In the second year of Xuantong in Qing Dynasty (19 10), Zhang Fengtai, a member of Changbai County Government Council, recorded the monster in detail: "Four hunters went to the turtle-catching platform in Tianchi and saw something coming out of the pond under the peak, golden yellow, with horns on the top and whiskers on the top, and bowed their heads and shook them. All the people were scared and climbed halfway up the mountain. Suddenly they heard a bang and looked back. Everyone thinks of dragons, so it is also called Longtan. " According to the Records of Changbai Mountain and Memorabilia, in April of 1903 (the 29th year of Guangxu), a traveler Xu Yongshun and his brother Yu Fu went to Changbai Mountain to hide deer and chased them to Tianchi. "A suitable thing is as big as a buffalo, and its roar is deafening, making people want to jump at it. Everyone is scared and relatively pale and helpless. " I quickly took a gun and fired, and the machine ceased fire. Things are eyeing, if you want to bite Shu, six small guns will go back to your waist. They will sneak them away and let them go, growling and screaming in their stomachs, and they will lie in the pool. For more than half a minute ... the pool was foggy as before, and nothing was seen. "This is the earliest written record about monsters.

shape

The shape of the "Tianchi Monster" has become varied on the controversial altar. Some are described as dragons with horns and long legs, and some are compared to monsters with a head as big as an ox, a body like a dog and a mouth like a duck; Some think it is a black bear swimming in the pool; Others suspect that the strange animals in Changbai Mountain are incredible. So monsters are like dragons, cows, bears, qi, dinosaurs, mermaids, floating life and so on, which are difficult to unify. In order to deeply explore and study the Tianchi Monster in Changbai Mountain and solve the mystery of this world, the Changbai Mountain Nature Reserve Administration established the "Tianchi Monster" showroom, sorted out and published all the discoveries and records of history and present, drew the flow chart of the monster's appearance, and sculpted two monsters according to people's descriptions. One is like a dragon, golden yellow, with a dragon forest; One looks like a cow and has a mouth like a duck.

Appearing record

Guangming Daily1October 9 1980 published an article entitled "The Witness of Tianchi Monster". The general content is1at 4 o'clock in the morning on August 20, 980, the author was watching the sunrise at the top of Tianchi Mountain in Changbai Mountain, and suddenly he found an object as big as an ox on the water in the distance. When this report came out, people were puzzled. Tianchi Lake in Changbai Mountain is a crater lake with high mountains and water cooling, and its nutrient content is very low. It used to be thought that there was basically no life in Tianchi. Why did such a huge creature suddenly appear? This mystery has not been solved so far, so the rumor that there is a "monster" in Tianchi has spread to this day. CCTV 10 set "Into Science" has already aired the trip to decrypt the Tianchi monster.

On July 6, 2002, on the northern slope of Changbai Mountain, two locals discovered the "water monster".

On July 7th, 2005, Zheng Changchun, a man from Fusong County, Jilin Province, was visiting Tianchi Lake with his family when he accidentally found a strange shadow on the lake. This moment was photographed by him. Although some people think it is just a piece of wood floating on the water, Zheng Changchun is convinced that it is a creature. ...

On July 2 1 day, 2005, the monster appeared again on the north bank of Tianchi Lake. The witness's name is Huang Xiangtong. In his description, this is a giant creature similar to a whale or a submarine. According to his memory, this is a giant monster more than two meters high. Zhou, a 70-year-old man, claimed that he had seen this "monster" in Tianchi more than once since the 1960s, and he saw it clearly in a close contact from 65438 to 0980! The two young people said that this is a creature with a huge head, which can hibernate in the water for a long time and may be aggressive!

On July 28th, 2005, more people witnessed this unknown creature on the west slope of Changbai Mountain. Meng, director of Songjianghe Tourism Branch of Jilin Changbai Mountain National Nature Reserve Administration, said that at about 2 pm on July 25, 2005, tourists witnessed the "Tianchi Water Monster" on the top of the western slope of Changbai Mountain. At the top of the mountain, Mr. Dong, who runs a telescope rental, said that the "water monster" appeared in the water on the North Korean side at that time, about 100 meters from the shore. I saw it jumping up and down, just like a seal playing in the water, giving the first impression that the fish was jumping. Seen from the telescope, it's dark, not very big, so I can't see clearly what it is. Some people say it looks like a dinosaur, some people say it looks like a big iron pot, and some people say it looks like a buffalo, but it is definitely not a fish. It swam for more than ten minutes and then disappeared. One or two hundred tourists on the mountain also saw it at that time.

On July 29th, 20 13, the staff of Tianchi Volcano Monitoring Station in Changbai Mountain introduced the suspected "Tianchi Water Monster" he photographed. According to reports, at 5 o'clock on July 27, he and his colleagues went up the mountain to the Tianchi seaside on the northern slope of Changbai Mountain to monitor the water temperature of the hot spring and sample the gas overflowing from the hot spring. After taking the sample, he suddenly saw a "V"-shaped water wave on the originally calm Tianchi water surface in the distance. At the forefront of the water wave, there seems to be a "black spot" above the water surface, swimming forward quickly. So I immediately took out my camera and photographed it. Because Wu Chengzhi's camera can't shoot from a long distance, I'm not sure what it is. In a group of photos of him in continuous shooting, two of them are very clear: one is that the head of a suspected "monster" is black above the water, and the other is submerged in the water, leaving only a scratch. In addition, there is a new "black spot". After zooming in on the computer, the photos taken show that the head of the suspected "water monster" is out of the water, and the vague outline is quite like the head and neck of a deer.

At +04: 50 on 20/2003165438124/2003, nearly 100 tourists witnessed the scene of two "water monsters" swimming around Tianchi Lake. Judging from the photos taken by tourists, there is a water wave more than ten meters long and a white back like a "water monster", which is about 65438. The "water monster" began to play and swim on the lake about 600 meters away from the Haixi Trail. Then, the "water monster" swam in circles in the lake, floating and sinking for a while, and set off huge round waves on the water. After swimming in Tianchi for about 10 minutes, the "water monster" dived into the lake and disappeared.

Investigation and speculation

Ancient creatures

Observers have noticed that the "monster" in Tianchi, Changbai Mountain is very similar to the monster in Loch Ness, Scotland, which was once suspected to be a descendant of ancient creatures.

Special position

Through close scientific investigation, it is found that although there is little possibility of prehistoric descendants in Tianchi Lake, crater Lake is a special geographical environment. There are many opinions in the scientific community on whether it can become the soil for breeding "monsters". Among them, the theory of radiation variation is the most supportive, and it is believed that the monster in Changbai Mountain is caused by radiation pollution. Because Changbai Mountain is a crater, it will inevitably produce radiation and live well in Tianchi. But people in other scientific circles say that the real world can't be as big as movies, because radiation is generally harmful to the body. Once it is radiated, it should die of radiation. Therefore, there can be no water monster, it must be a human illusion.

Caused by otters

Scientists also suggest that monsters are hallucinations caused by otters, because the monsters photographed in the camera are strikingly similar to otters. Otters usually leave Tianchi in spring and come to Tianchi in autumn, which can also explain why people see monsters in July and August. But this statement has no conclusive evidence and is not generally recognized.
