Shooting skills in indoor low light environment

For all photographers who shoot indoor activities, the first thing to consider is lens aperture, shutter and ISO. Even if you use a camera with high sensitivity and low noise, you certainly don't want to miss the wonderful photos because of jitter or machine vibration. This time I used Canon's mirrorless camera to experience shooting in low light. I suggest you use a large aperture lens. The larger the aperture, the greater the luminous flux, and you can also use a fixed-focus lens with a larger aperture, so you can still get a good shooting effect in the case of insufficient light. In the case of low light shooting, you can also use a reflector to fill the face, which can make the effect more prominent.

Because the room is dark, first set the ISO of the camera to a higher position, such as 1600. However, high sensitivity is prone to some noise, but it will not have much impact. It is safer to use the shutter of1160 seconds at the same time, and there will be no imaging jitter. If you are looking for higher image quality, I suggest you use the shutter of 1/30 seconds and set the ISO to 800 or lower, but hold your hands firmly, stand with your feet apart and hold your breath. After the ISO is lowered, there will be less noise. You can use such a slow shutter when shooting scenes, which will improve the sensitivity and make the picture quality higher and purer.

A failed original work.

The original composition of the work in the above picture failed, and the background in the original small picture with horizontal composition was very messy, but its value was once again reflected by cutting it into vertical composition. In the case of controlling ISO, shutter and aperture, we should also pay attention to composition and find different angles to compose. If the composition fails, it can be regenerated through post-editing.

When the above photos were taken, the room was actually very dark and was only taken by weak light. But through the understanding of shutter and ISO and shooting skills, the author took such a high-feeling photo. Low-light photography can stimulate the creative potential of photographers, and it is not necessary to follow the fixed aperture, shutter and ISO settings.
