"A String of Life" is the first food program in China to present the barbecue complex of Chinese people. The whole film involves more than 3 barbecue shops, which bring together all kinds of legends and barbecue food. These more than 3 shops are selected from nearly 5 barbecue shops in 32 provinces and cities by the director group spanning more than half of China.

unlike previous films about barbecues, "String" focuses on civilian food, street people and grass-roots heroes. The biggest highlight of this food program is to show the truth by documentary means, to present the food by film pictures, to be grounded in the mr. six style of rivers and lakes, and to drool over the barbecue food and the documentary feelings of civilian temperament.
