Pet photography method
The method of pet photography. Make good use of the golden section (nine squares composition method)
The golden section is actually to divide the picture into nine squares, and the main body can be placed at four intersections, which is more beautiful and comfortable than simply putting the main body in the center.
The picture is divided into nine grids, and the main body is placed at the intersection.
Some friends may ask:? Usually when I take pictures, there is no nine squares for me to refer to. How should I do this composition?
In fact, many SLR or DC (portable digital cameras) can manually display nine squares in the observation window for everyone to see. Different brands of cameras will store their settings in different places. You can look for them yourself or refer to the manual first.
Put the protagonist at the intersection of the left and right corners to make the photo look comfortable.
Shadow and dog are also at the intersection.
Second, use shallow depth of field.
? Before and after the Qing Dynasty? I believe everyone can see the effect, effectively highlighting your pet from the background. But how to form this effect?
Highlight the theme of shallow depth of field with large aperture camp
So this effect is called? Shallow depth of field? To achieve this effect, we must rely on four elements, and today we will talk about three of them:
Large aperture
When you adjust the camera, I believe you have seen numbers like F2.8, F3 or F5. In fact, these numbers represent the numerical value of the aperture. Remember two principles:
The fewer numbers, the larger the aperture;
The larger the aperture, the shallower the depth of field (that is, the more hazy the background).
long-focus
There are often numbers like 18~55mm or 35~80mm on the lens, which is the focal length. Another factor that causes the depth of the scene is the focal length, and there are two principles:
The larger the number, the longer the focal length (which means the farther you can zoom);
The longer the focal length, the shallower the depth of field.
Distance between lens, subject and background
The distance between lens, subject and background also has a great influence on the depth of field. Generally speaking, the larger the area occupied by the subject in the picture (close to the subject or zooming with a lens), the shallower the depth of field will be, and the farther the subject is from the background, the shallower the depth of field will be.
Third, the use of color contrast and background.
Composition skills are ever-changing. In addition to the above two simple skills, we can also make use of the surrounding environment to make cats and dogs stand out! Remember the following tips:
Choose a clean and simple background.
According to the color of your pet, choose a color background that can be compared with it? For example, a black cat can stand in front of a white background to highlight its shape.
Is the brown dog outstanding?
White background can highlight cats.
Fourth, invisible, more prominent! Use silhouette effect
Sometimes pets can't help becoming very dark in the backlight environment. Instead of filling the light with a flash, it is better to take a silhouette directly to highlight the outline and shape of the pet!
Five, the shape contrast effect
In addition to the color contrast in Tip 3, the shape and size can also make the subject stand out! Big contrast is small, far contrast is near, high contrast is low, etc. It is also a good attempt!
Size and distance comparison
Sixth, highlight the characteristics? A full photo frame
Sometimes, as advertised? Less is more? Photos with smaller elements can better focus the reader's attention. One of the skills to remove redundant elements is to fill the frame with the main body, which can highlight the characteristics of pets (such as green eyes, big nose and so on). )!
