Five photography skills of depth photos

Lead: If you want to take a deep photo, you should not only have a solid basic composition, exposure and other skills, but also try to stimulate readers' senses through photos, so that readers can feel the environment and ideas when you take photos, so that photos can have stories and vitality! Below I share five tips with you through the works of several photographers and learn from you!

(1) Look: Pay attention to the light and shadow.

Photography is to capture light and shadow and let readers deeply feel the atmosphere at that time. Through the strong contrast between light and shadow, you can highlight the subject, or take a silhouette with a big backlight. Black and white photos can even remove colors, enhance the light and shadow effect of photos, and stimulate readers' visual senses!

(b) Listen: Make it lively and quiet.

The photo is static, how can it make a sound? We can try to highlight some common images with sound, such as seeing people laughing and playing musical instruments, or using a fast shutter to match the sense of space to eliminate moving things and make everything look static, thus shooting a sense of tranquility. You can also use "time" to express it, such as crossing a deserted street at night or crossing a busy market at noon.

(C) color: the use of color contrast

Color contrast is the easiest of these five techniques to shoot. By shooting high-contrast colors, you can effectively highlight the subject and bring more exciting visual effects, but be careful not to have too many colors, otherwise the photos will be too messy and counterproductive!

Feeling: cold and warm

Through the people, things and weather in the photos, tell readers how they feel when shooting on the spot, such as shooting a working kitchen, freshly baked food, or snowy and frozen drinks. By adjusting the value of white balance (a high k value makes the photo warm and cold, and vice versa), readers can also feel the "temperature" expressed by the photo.

(e) sense of scene: shooting details.

In order to capture the sense of scene and make readers feel immersive, we should capture the details and characteristics of the scene. A clear and sharp lens and a high-resolution fuselage have advantages in this respect, but the most important thing is to capture every move of the scene environment and leave a deep impression on people.

postscript

It is not easy to take a deep photo with your senses. When studying, it is best to determine a theme, such as shooting light and shadow, cooling and heating, so that it is easier to find the theme. Only through more practice can you cultivate a "photographic eye" to explore the theme at any time!
