Basic principles of photographic structure
Photographic composition refers to the planning and processing of objects, figures and scenes in photography, such as their primary and secondary positions, combinations, shapes and colors, in order to achieve harmonious and beautiful artistic effects. The following are some basic principles of photographic composition.
First of all, the law of symmetry
Symmetry can produce a sense of balance, which is often used to emphasize texture, shape, color, weight and so on. Symmetry can be divided into vertical symmetry and horizontal symmetry. Vertical symmetry can indicate stability and solemnity, while horizontal symmetry has a sense of calm and tranquility.
Second, the law of perspective
Perspective can add a sense of space to a work. By using perspective, a photographer can transform a three-dimensional space into a two-dimensional picture. The most commonly used perspective method in photography is linear perspective method, which produces a sense of depth by making the distant part and the close-up part have different sizes and proportions.
Third, the golden section rule.
The golden section rule is also called the law of proportion. In photography, the picture needs to be divided into three parts in proportion, and then arranged in proportion. The golden section can make the picture more balanced, beautiful, natural and full of vitality.
Fourth, the rule of lines.
Lines can arouse people's association, give people a complete sense of composition and express the meaning represented by lines. Lines are divided into horizontal lines, vertical lines and diagonal lines. Lines can be used to emphasize key points, create an atmosphere and express emotions.
V. Prospect rules
Foreground can enrich the picture content and enhance the composition effect. Through windows, branches and buildings to guide the audience into the picture, better attract the attention of the audience. The function of foreground can be space, stratification and segmentation.
Six, color rules
Color is also an important factor in picture composition. The reasonable arrangement of colors can give people a visual impact and express the photographer's thoughts and emotions. By using different tones and TINT, special atmosphere and emotion can be generated.
The above are the basic principles of photographic composition. Using these principles flexibly can make your photos more vivid, beautiful and transparent, and better convey the information and feelings you want to express.
