Willie Ronnie's creative style and characteristics
Willie Ronnies is a participant and witness of French photography for nearly a century. From his interview with Mr. Wang Baoguo of China Photography magazine, we can deeply feel his thoughts and personality. All his answers have maintained a kind of wisdom that penetrates life, sincere and true, without any self-affectation, and even less avoidance and dodge. His answer is not only a detailed review of his career, but also a simple review of the modern history of French photography from an independent perspective. Willy ronis enthusiastically participated in the French workers' struggle for their rights through photography. At the same time, with the eyes of a professional photographer and the artistic techniques of realism and naturalism, he continued to pay attention to and record the urban life in Paris in the last century. He filmed life in Paris for nearly 70 years. Now, by arranging his photos in chronological order, we can get a glimpse of the changes in the city of Paris. Of course, this change is more from the Parisians and their lives photographed by Willie Ronis. In his early photos, we can strongly feel some kind of depression and tension, which is a heavy burden left by history in Paris. But in his photos after World War II, we will obviously feel a feeling of warm sunshine release. In Willie Ronnies's eyes, Paris in this period was full of romance that it should have. It is the Garden of Eden for lovers, a playground for children, a big studio for artists and a space for mothers to love. Willie Ronnies's eyes at this time are like a warm spring flowing on the Seine River and between the Woods and green spaces on both sides. Paris has always been a place where photographers show their skills. Bresson, Brasett and others have taken countless photos of Paris, but their Paris is nothing like Willie Ronis. Most of the Paris in Bresson's eyes is the artistic material for him to seek a "decisive moment"; Paris in Blacet's eyes is the repression of human nature in the dark. Paris, willy ronis, like a brisk aria music, always shines gorgeous and confident in warmth, but never makes public. Willie Ronnies thought it was optimism, and the happiness liberated from the oppression of the occupied people by the French reflected the optimism of Parisians about the future at that time. His understanding of images is also very firm, and he doesn't like the trend of pursuing the "impact" effect of photos blown from America. He hopes that photography can convey real social concern and express his true heart. He said, "At that time, I noticed that publications were less interested in social topics, and they were more interested in boring trivia or sensational news. This sensational pursuit mainly comes from the American press. I can't adapt to the curiosity of' photo impact' and sensational photos. This is not an area where I consciously have the ability to express myself. " This passage by Willie Ronnies shows the confidence and pride of a Frenchman who persists to this day.
