The finale of the girl deep in the swamp

At the end of the film, Kia forgave Tate, and Tate also gave up his previous job and stayed with Kia in the depths of the swamp. The two stayed together until they were white-haired, and Kia died.

The film is adapted from Delia Owens' novel Where the flies sing. It tells the story of a young woman, Kia Clark, who is abandoned by her family and lives and grows up alone in a dangerous swamp in North Carolina. For many years, there has been a rumor about "swamp girl" in Buckley Bay, which led to the rejection of smart and strong Kia by local residents.

One day, Kia was attracted by two young people from the town, and she opened her heart to a new and shocking world. However, after the body of one of the young people was found, she was immediately identified as the number one suspect by the town. With the new progress in case investigation, the truth has become more and more elusive. Many secrets hidden in the swamp are gradually revealed.

Behind-the-scenes production:

The Girl in the Marsh is a suspense thriller directed by Olivia Newman and directed by Daisy Edgar-Jones and Harris Dickinson. It was released in North America on July 22nd, 222 and in Chinese mainland on November 25th, 222.

The film is cautious about the choice of swamp wetlands, and the screenwriter Lucy Ariba even said that "the swamp itself is a role". In order to create a better visual experience and sense of substitution, the film deliberately chose New Orleans, Louisiana, USA and other places to shoot. The aquatic plants are lush, the fish are shallow, the birds are fluttering, and the unique and vibrant beauty of the swamp is captured by photographer Polly Morgan.
