How to design an attractive leaflet
Key points in making an attractive leaflet:
First, refine a good theme.
The theme is the refinement and understanding of brand development strategy, corporate image strategy, and marketing strategy. Without the refinement of the theme of the album design, the grapes are still grapes, and the wine produced cannot be tasteful wine. The album is a mechanical display, not a display or performance, let alone an expression.
Secondly, a good "director" is needed.
A good picture album is an excellent movie. The creation of the story, the control of the rhythm, the eye-catching pictures, etc. all test the director's ability. The structure of the album is the structure of the movie.
A picture album with a good structure is like a movie with a rhythm, and a picture album with "starting, continuing, turning and closing".
Again, good ideas are needed.
Good creativity doesn’t just belong in magazine ads. Good creativity conforms to the album's performance strategy and reflects the album's theme everywhere.
Finally, you must have good photography.
For example, many companies are willing to spend a lot of money on product research and development, but the products displayed in the brochures look like inferior products; also, the team fighting of modern companies is difficult in the company
But it is rarely reflected in the album. Excellent corporate albums will create some unique collective pictures when expressing corporate culture. Promotional color page design skills: How to design attractive promotional leaflets (reprinted)
A good promotional leaflet, color page, and DM advertisement must first have a clear theme and an in-depth understanding of the readers (target consumer group) needs. It is very important to grasp the readers’ appeal points. Secondly, a good picture is worth a thousand words. You don’t have to fill the leaflet with everything you want to say, but highlight the key points so that readers are interested in learning more about your product or even picking up the phone to order your product.
As a low-cost marketing method, promotional leaflets are particularly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises. But we often see passers-by on the street getting a tract and throwing it into the trash can without even looking at it. How to prevent the leaflet you designed from suffering the same fate? At least we can design it more beautifully! This article introduces you to the "template" of designing a leaflet, so that you can easily design an attractive leaflet. . Promotional leaflets are a low-cost and effective means of publicity. In this article we will provide a multi-purpose "template" that you can apply to various leaflet designs. Despite the rapid advancement of modern technology, promotional leaflets are still widely used. Because it is low cost and has good publicity effect. Coupled with the current sophisticated printing technology, the visual effect of these promotional leaflets is very attractive. But who would spend a lot of time to design it beautifully? Unless you have a "template"! - a template that tells you to put the title here, the photo there, etc. This also saves time. If you want to design a series of leaflets, using "template" design can also make your leaflets appear coordinated instead of chaotic. The original design looked messy and the randomly modified design looked neat and pleasing to the eye. In the two advertisements for house sales above, they have the same house and the same text, but if it were you, which one would attract you to buy? In the original In the design, the designer seems to be in a hurry and has to deal with things, so the effect is also lack of organization. The entire page has too much space (at the arrow) and is visually cluttered. In the revised design, every element is in its place, giving people a neat and coordinated visual effect. In fact, the picture above is what we call a "template", which allows you to know where to place things when designing. What you have to do when designing is actually to simply place each element in its own place. Just the location. As you can see from the picture above, this template is composed of five columns (the odd number is used to break the balance and make the page dynamic). Of course, these line segments are only reference lines and will not appear in the final design. We divide the page into three areas, including the title area, picture area and text area. When designing, we start from the top. We need to use a certain color in the title area (as shown in the picture above, it is filled with black), and the title text uses white with high contrast. Notice that this black area sets a tone for the entire page. Then we put the picture to fill the entire picture area. Then add text. We put various related texts (various information and key points) in the scope of three columns, and pay attention to the contrast between the texts. In the picture above, it is composed of a larger thin serif (serif) font and a Smaller san-serif bold compositions provide contrast. This allows viewers to know that these are two different parts of text information. Like the title, the text area here is also determined by those columns. The last step is to add contact information. The map is placed on the right, occupying two columns, and a small picture is placed in the lower right corner. Notice in this layout how we use asymmetrical design to make the entire margin more vivid. If we had the same width on both sides of the text area, the layout would look too calm.
We can also make some changes to the above design: for example, we can adjust the size of each area so that more text can be placed in the title or more pictures can be added to the picture area. But in any case, do not break the original basic layout of the area. And pay attention to the various rectangular color areas that connect the various elements of the entire layout. Add a few more photos in the picture area (the picture above is composed of three pictures), but the positions occupied by the pictures still adhere to the original five-column layout. And like the picture above, the large picture occupies three columns and the small picture occupies two columns to prevent the page from looking too dull. If you need to, you can even put in four pictures (see picture below). In this design, the best visual effect is achieved by making one photo larger than the others. In the introductory text pointed by the arrow in the picture above, the font is 16Pt and the line spacing is 26Pt. You can change the height of each area according to actual needs, or add more pictures. As mentioned above, two parts of the text in the text area use two fonts. As a distinction, the font of the price number is the same as the font of each key point below, in order to connect the upper and lower parts of the information. In the image above, we have also increased the height of the title area to accommodate more text. In order to cope with this change, we moved the picture downwards and reduced the number of words in the text. Of course, just because it's a template doesn't mean there's no change. Let's use two other examples to see how to apply this template flexibly. The first change: In the above picture, our various areas are separated, but in the design below, a light color is used as the color of the entire background. Five small images occupy five columns each. One large picture plus five small pictures occupy the entire picture area. The design in the picture above has the following characteristics: 1. All elements are placed on a light-colored background, making the entire layout uniform. Is there a pixel limit for pictures set in the background?
Background pictures< /p>
If it is a picture file, that is, a bitmap format, the pixel limits in setting
pixels
are different due to different functions. They are mainly divided into two categories. The first type is used for videos and online browsing. This type of pictures is limited to 700,000 pixels. If it is larger than 700,000 pixels, it will affect the browsing speed. If it is smaller than 700,000 pixels, it will produce a mosaic effect
or Vague. Production of printed matter and printing must be set to more than 3 million pixels. 3 million pixels only ensures A3 paper
size
printing and clear printing. The larger the picture, the higher the pixels required. Therefore, the pixels of professional digital cameras are above 20 million pixels.
Background
If it is a
vector image
the file has nothing to do with pixels, whether it is on a video or viewed and printed online There are no pixel limits. Backgrounds such as posters, leaflets, and advertisements with text descriptions are all made using vector images, which can be enlarged at will. If you insert a photo format image on the
vector
background You have to consider the pixels of the photo.
