Where is Sumadang Scenic Area?

Sumadang is located in Lichuan City, Hubei Province.

Sumadang Scenic Area is located in Moudao Town, the westernmost part of Lichuan City, Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hubei Province, 48 kilometers away from Lichuan City. This is a magical and beautiful mountain village. Sumadang is located on the south bank of the Yangtze River, with an altitude of 1, 500m m. Close to Cidonggou Canyon and Qiyue Mountain Wall, it has beautiful mountains and rivers, pleasant scenery, dense forests and unique customs.

The distant view, close view, plant landscape and astronomical landscape of the scenic spot complement each other, and the unique skyline highlights the tourism characteristics of Sumatra Island. Sumadang Village, with a population of less than 500, is a rare Tujia village with the most primitive ecological characteristics in China, and has the reputation of "the most beautiful small place in China".
