Speaking of which, when I was in college, I saw my seniors go to Phoenix for a volunteer trip. I should try what I didn't dare to do before.

I found a volunteer on a platform called WFP Volunteer Life. Volunteers travel in a variety of forms, some as apprentices in coffee shops, some in enthusiastic seaside surfing clubs, or doing handicrafts in art galleries. I choose homestay. For a tourist, my focus is still on tourism. I don't want to live too hard than to experience life. After all, if you want to work hard, you don't need to quit.

At that time, I saw Dali Shuanglang Sunshine Fairy Tale Inn, and the more I saw it, the more excited I became. Because B&B faces Erhai Lake, you can see Erhai Lake in the store, so I applied for an interview in this house. I still remember that on the way to Shuanglang, I started from Shimonoseki and took the coastal highway. It was sunny that afternoon and the sea was sparkling.

I still remember the mood that day, as sweet as candy and as excited as on the way to a date. Different corners can always see different Erhai Lake. At the other end of Erhai Lake is Cangshan Mountain. Cangshan and clouds are like a frozen picture. No matter where you drive, you always think you are still in the painting.

This is my third visit to Dali. The first time was a graduation trip, and I passed by for one night. The second time was on a business trip, and I was fascinated by the sunrise in the sea view room. When I came to Dali for the third time, I really saw Dali. If you like Dali, you will be willing to stay here for a long time, one month, three months or even longer.

What do homestay volunteers do?

Every homestay has different requirements for volunteers. Here, they mainly clean the corridor, water the flowers, help the store manager cook and entertain guests.

Speaking of which, I especially want to mention our store manager, who is much younger than me. She has her own ideas in entertaining guests. From the moment the guest places an order to the moment the guest leaves the store, whenever she explains her thoughts to me, I sincerely admire her and think she is the most responsible manager I have ever met. She will often talk to us about some points that should be paid attention to when receiving guests.

For example, when guests come in, we don't need to entertain them in such a hurry. It will make people feel more comfortable to let them see for themselves.

Because we stay in B&B for a long time, we start cleaning B&B after washing and eating breakfast in the morning, and sometimes go shopping with the store manager. Because I can cook, I also take the initiative to take on the work of lunch or dinner.

If there are no guests in the shop, we will stay in the hotel lobby. My sister who came with me at the same time wants to learn English. The manager is reading a book and I am writing a plan. Occasionally, when I see my sister sitting on a small stool by the window to learn English, I feel that I have lived a long life.

Another time it was cloudy and it rained for several days. We sing in B&B. The manager was born in music, and my sister has a musical dream. They all sing very well. On a cloudy day, we recorded a song "Sunny Day", and occasionally turned it over to listen to it, but it still felt small and fresh.

Outside people and things.

Whenever the sun is about to set, I can't help but want to go out and have a look. I like watching the sunset. It's very late in Yunnan. It's almost 9 o'clock. So often after dinner, go out for a walk, or ride a bike to the observation deck of Shuanglang Town overlooking the ancient town, Cangshan Mountain and sunset glow. Chasing the sunset in Dali is my most romantic thing.

When the sun began to set, the afterglow of the sun appeared on Erhai Lake. You're always thinking, seeing further. So he went to the sunset and left.

The store manager, like me, is from Guangxi, but when I saw her, the idea was doubted countless times in my mind. She said that she had just returned from playing in Shangri-La with friends from Northeast China, so she would still have a Northeast accent for some time.

She is a girl of 0 1 year, still in college, but I didn't feel this way when talking to her. Regardless of her identity and age, I often think that she is my age. The store manager is very serious and responsible, and I guess this is where the boss pays special attention to her. We are both Leo, and I can understand her attitude towards work. Sometimes I can't help watching her busy in the shop, so cooking on time is the most practical.

The girl who volunteered with me is my sister after 00, and her real age is here. Although my sister is younger than me, she is taller than me. Getting along with her, I found that the future of the generation after 00 has infinite possibilities, and they will create more interesting things. My sister is a film major and wanted to take an examination of music before. I forget why she didn't choose music, but she still loves music. She is always excited when she mentions music. She likes listening to songs and singing. What I admire is that at her age, she has been to many places and seen many things, and she can enjoy what she loves in other ways.

The first guest to stay in the hotel is unforgettable. This is my first day at the hotel. I found that the location of B&B is quite suitable for star watching, so I put forward the idea of going to the roof to watch the stars together before going to bed. When the guests were resting in the store, they heard it and said they would go up together. It happened that he was a photographer and his sister brought her own camera, so they went to the roof to shoot stars together.

My sister and I are very glad of the decision we made that night, because we really didn't stay up so late for the stars like that night. It was a full moon night. Although the moon is bright, you can still see the stars. The last time I saw the stars was by the lake in Qinghai. Moonless night, the night sky is dark and starry, which always seems a bit lonely.

The stars seen in Dali are completely different. The moonlight is very bright. In addition to the shadow of the moon on Erhai Lake, you can also see a line illuminated by moonlight on Cangshan Cloud opposite. Clouds near the moon in the sky also have light. This is a gift for children in idolize.

After the trip, my friends asked me about my feelings and experiences. Volunteers traveling in different places make me feel more like life than traveling. When you come to a new environment and get familiar with people you don't know, you can enjoy the sunshine, mountains and lakes here. When I was watering the flowers, I glanced at the Bai villagers walking downstairs. I live here and do the most daily things like them. I am infatuated with the sunshine in Dali, and I am infatuated with the impermanence on Erhai Lake. When I was chasing the sunset, I thought, slow down … I want to watch it for a while.
