Can Nikon D5300 shoot the background blur effect?

On August 8th, Nikon released two updated firmware versions of the entry-level SLR D3300 and D5300 in official website, both of which were updated from the "C" firmware version 1.0 1.02, mainly to solve the problem that the exposure of the first photo taken in real-time shooting is sometimes incorrect.

Nikon D3300 went on the market at the beginning of 20 14, and D5300 went on the market earlier, in June of 20 13. But as an entry-level product, D5300 has a higher positioning and stronger functions than D3300, mainly in:

1. File format for storing photos: D5300 can choose to save 12 or 14 compressed RAW format, while D3300 can only save 12 compressed format;

2. Photometric system: D5300 uses 20 16 pixel RGB sensor for TTL exposure photometry, and D3300 uses 420 pixel RGB sensor for TTL exposure photometry;

3. Focusing system: D5300 adopts Nikon multi-camera 4800DX autofocus module, 39 focusing points (including 9 crosses), D3300 adopts multi-camera 1000 autofocus induction module, 1/focusing points (including1cross);

4. Other aspects: D5300 is designed without olpf, which can give full play to the resolution of the image sensor. In addition, in terms of fuselage weight, D5300 is about 530g, which is about 70g heavier than D3300.

Both cameras have 241.6000 effective pixels, adopt the EXPEED 4 image processor, and the standard ISO supports1.28000, with the capability of 1.080/60p HD video shooting. So the difference is mainly in operability, and there is not much difference in imaging quality.
