It happened last century. In the spring of 2000, Karen Mok, Wujiang, Zhang Zhenyue and others, led by young director Runjiu Shi, went south to Guangxi and moved to the southwest to shoot China's first road film "Go to the End". Go to the End is about an honest driver, Xiao Wang, who meets a girl looking for a boyfriend on the road. They witnessed a robbery committed by Molly's boyfriend Adong, and both of them embarked on the road of escape. ...

In fact, movies with images and sounds as elements pay the most attention to the sense of form. The director's search for a positive variation in film rhythm, scene application and narrative structure is also a challenge to the audience's generally formed appreciation habit-this test comes from the brand-new audio-visual language of the film and the human state under the change of this audio-visual language. The movie "Go to the End" is characterized by real experiences on the road, and time and space change at will. Those imagined, those that have passed and those that have not happened have all come to me. High-speed photography and low-speed photography may only appear occasionally in general film and television works, but they are widely used in Go to the End. For example, movies often show the inner time and space of the characters through a bird's eye view of the whole big picture, so the rapid transition from the external close-up of the characters to the panoramic view of vilen and the full use of bipolar lenses are the main style characteristics of the photo editing of Go to the End.

A beautiful new world

Following Brave New World, Runjiu Shi, a cutting-edge director, put a story set on the road that has never been involved in China on the screen. Runjiu Shi, who loves to describe the life and inner world of little people, boldly tried a brand-new narrative technique and shooting method in the film, which is refreshing and may be a bit strange. The combination of the three main actors is also quite eye-catching: totally ignorant Wujiang, maverick Karen Mok, and eccentric Zhang Zhenyue-the standard mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan joined hands to launch a feud around love, money, justice and treachery.

It is also worth mentioning that the soundtrack of the movie with the same name will also be released simultaneously with the movie. Zhang Zhenyue specially created the theme song and interlude for this film, including many beautiful songs from Karen Mok, Yang Naiwen and Ji Xiaojun. Going to the end is worth looking forward to.
