Landscape Paintings of Wang Jun and Wang Jun

Yanmenguan, Wang Jun: There is a great atmosphere hidden in the small high hill.

I am used to the "close-up" expressions of painters and photographers, but I feel uncomfortable when I see Yanmenguan written by Wang Jun. He didn't highlight the greatness, massiness, richness and vicissitudes of this aspect. Let's look forward to it. You know, this is a scenic spot with a long history, but he is still a Daixian. I didn't rush to ask Wang Jun this question, but I thought about it for a long time. For places of interest and historical sites, as well as all cultural attractions, whenever I see relevant articles and publicity materials, the metropolis feels nothing more than this, and some even feel cheated. Those who have been there and love to write always write what they see tall and mysterious, and there are many exaggerated problems. If we read such an article, it is like watching a soft advertisement of a merchant and then spending it at home. The result is self-evident. I don't usually read those travel articles, but I want to read experts' to avoid too much hope and disappointment. From this perspective, it is meaningful for Wang Jun to draw Yanmenguan. As a generation of county people, a cultural person, born and raised in Sri Lanka, should know more about the cultural value of Yanmenguan than ordinary people. That is to say, the height of Yanmenguan has been branded in Wang Jun's heart. When it was his turn to express it with skillful pen and ink, he didn't use "close-up", but hid in the mountains for you to find and imagine the mystery and vicissitudes of Yanmenguan outside the picture. An important relative of my family is outside the Great Wall. In the past, when I went to visit my relatives every year, I had to go through the mountain of Yanmenguan, climb up from Daixian, come down from Shuozhou and follow the winding and steep Panshan Highway. Strange rocks and pine trees made people nervous along the way. But although the highway is next to Yanmenguan, you can't see it. So Yanmenguan has always been a mystery in my heart. On the New Year card with a developed tourism system, I saw the ancient and vibrant Yanmenguan, and broken walls did not lose its majesty. On the green platform next to it, several tall and straight pine trees give people endless associations ... The autumn of 20 10 finally arrived at Yanmenguan. Walking along the ravine, the style is good. When I climbed the renovated but still steep mountain road and the brand-new Wild Goose Gate stood above my head, I didn't feel anything! This is not the Yanmenguan I saw on the New Year card, nor the Yanmenguan I imagined on the bus. It is very similar to the performance project that promising officials spend a lot of money on. In the middle of nowhere, the whistling wind rolled up the loess and made me cold all over. Looking through these memories and looking at Yanmenguan written by Wang Jun, I seem to have found that feeling again. As a hero barrier, a historical landmark and a cultural specimen, Yanmenguan witnessed the war and integration of the Hu Hanmin people. It exists in our hearts, and blind concrete expression can only damage its remaining glory. It is better to hide it in the depths of the mountains and dedicate it to the post station of the journey, so that it can return to the cosmic aesthetic vision of harmony between man and nature and leave a mystery and surprise for the future. When Liu Changqing, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, sent a friend to travel to the north, he wrote the poem "Sunset at Yanmenguan" ... only love this leisure ",and Shi Jianwu also wrote" I am not at home outside Yanmenguan ". It can be seen that Yanmenguan has always been lonely, but it has never lacked a bosom friend. Wang Jun, a fellow countryman, should be one of the few bosom friends. In this landscape of Wang Jun, Yanmenguan, though small, is a "source of living water" and an eye. There is a great breath hidden in the small majesty, which attracts us to explore, look up and think. From the perspective of artistic aesthetics, this work is just a "window" of Wang Jun's landscape painting thought. He kept a clear head, didn't go with the flow, and insisted on consolidating his academic qualifications. After sketching, he wrote down the mountains and rivers in his heart with a casual pen. He is not nostalgic, not satisfied with the description of real mountains and waters, but pays attention to creation and lyricism. He closely combines the formal beauty of traditional painting with the objective natural beauty and inner spiritual beauty, which is manifested in the blurred artistic conception, bold and vivid, elegant and magnificent, showing the artistic realm of dripping profundity and muddy ink, forming a profound and mysterious "hazy beauty" and the picture is full of vitality.
