How to set up nine squares for mobile phone photos?

Putting the subject at one of the four intersections of nine squares has the function of highlighting the subject and attracting visual senses. (as shown in the figure below)

In terms of composition method, the above picture well explains the composition principle of Jiugongge, in which the characters only treat the intersection of Jiugongge as the familiar golden section to make the picture look more aesthetic.

But is this the real usage of Jiugongge?

What was I thinking when I took this photo?

When I was walking near the Golden Temple, I found a woman in red appeared in front of me and photographed it with my mobile phone.

First of all, her red clothes attracted me, which was in great contrast with the surrounding environment. In the process of shooting, I deliberately left the Red Pagoda on the left, so that the three elements in the picture, the Red Pagoda, the Golden Temple and the White Pagoda, form a sense of balance, and the left side will not be unbalanced.

Another important point is that I prefer to let people leave some space behind the ground when shooting, so as not to feel oppressive.

There are also many tourists and believers around the Golden Temple, who keep walking back and forth and can't shoot a wider range. In order to get rid of other interference around them, they will also choose a suitable distance.

Enlightenment: When we analyze a photo, we don't know the shooting environment at that time, so it is very easy to analyze the composition of a photo with some photography theories and skills we learn every day, and divide it into a person at the golden section, thus creating aesthetic feeling.

Our shooting environment is constantly changing, when you use those composition theories to analyze scenes and photos. Many times it will lead you astray! When shooting, we should get rid of those rigid photographic composition theories and find the correct shooting method.
