If you live in Lengzhai Town, you can get up the next day and take a bus to Pumaidi, the starting point of hiking. I remember that the cost seems to be around 50 yuan.

PS: I really don't recommend hiking before going to Pumaidi. I have calculated the time. From Pumaidi to Deng's house, it takes 20 minutes to ride down the mountain by motorcycle. If you walk, I estimate it will take at least 2-3 hours. It's very tiring to go uphill. There is no need to save this 20 yuan. From Deng's home to Lengzhai Town, it takes about 30 minutes by motorcycle, and then it takes 2-3 hours to walk.

From the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, the normal hiking time is 8~ 10 hour.
