Explanation of image reconstruction terms

Image reconstruction refers to the technology that obtains the shape information of a three-dimensional object through digital processing of external measurement data of the object. Image reconstruction technology was first used in radiological medical equipment to display images of various parts of the human body, that is, computed tomography technology, or CT technology for short, and has gradually been applied in many fields. Mainly include projection reconstruction, light and dark shape restoration, stereoscopic vision reconstruction and laser ranging reconstruction.

Classification of image reconstruction

According to the different data acquisition methods used for image reconstruction, it can be divided into:

Transmission tomography

Emission tomography

Reflection tomography

According to the different original data acquisition methods and reconstruction principles, it can be divided into:

EmissionComputedTomograghy, ECT)

Transmission Computed Tomography (TCT)

Reflection Computed Tomography (RCT)

Magnetic Resonance Imaging , MRI)
