Details of the Russian T-tank.

T-90 main battle tank (Russian: тосновнокбоевоокрт)

The car body is improved from T-72. The early turret was a casting turret similar to T-72, but the later turret was a redesigned welding turret with T-80U fire control system. It was mainly developed in response to the threat of NATO at that time. Almost all of them are deployed in the Western Military Region and the Ural Military Region. In Russia, it is used as a defensive weapon. It was only exported to India in recent years, and India renamed it Vishimo.

During the Cold War, the Soviet army had as many as 50,000 main battle tanks, of which the T-90 was the latest main battle tank. Before it, several main battle tanks in the Soviet Union were also quite famous, more or less related by blood, similar in appearance, but very different internally, with fundamental differences in performance and stability. The Soviet Union developed the T-90 main battle tank on the basis of T-80 and T-72, but adopted the fire control system of T-80U.

In fact, at the early stage of development, the T-90 main battle tank was also an improved version of the T-72, code-named T-72BU. However, due to the use of some advanced technologies of T-80, its performance has been greatly improved, just to wash away the bad reputation left by T-72 tank in the Gulf War and not affect its export, so it was renamed T-90. The armored protection system of T-72BM tank and the advanced fire control system of T-80 tank are mainly adopted. The total combat weight is 46.5 tons, there are 3 passengers, the engine power is 840 kW, the maximum road speed is 65 km/h, and the maximum driving distance is 600 km.
