What are the disadvantages of telephoto cameras?
Digital Cameras For these ultra-large zoom digital cameras with 10x optical zoom lenses, certain overall defects will have a fatal impact on the final shooting quality and user use.
1. Focusing at the telephoto end is slow. As we all know, the autofocus technology of consumer digital cameras is not actually very advanced, and it is not ideal in terms of speed. This is also the reason why many people switch to digital single-lens reflex cameras (DSLRs) after using consumer digital cameras for a period of time. For these machines with 10x zoom, the autofocus at the telephoto end will be put to a greater test. Judging from the machines currently on the market, many machines do have defects in this aspect. Mainly manifested in the lack of firm focus or the inability to focus, which is especially obvious in places with relatively dark light.
2. Jitter when holding. Most friends who are familiar with photography know the concept of safe shutter speed. The safe shutter speed is actually the reciprocal of the focal length. The so-called safety means that if the shutter speed you use is higher than the safe shutter speed, the photos taken will basically not become blurred due to uncontrollable shaking of the hand. On the contrary, if it is lower than this speed, it will be more dangerous. Since the focal length of a 10x optical zoom digital camera is very large, we are required to ensure a high shutter speed when shooting. Otherwise, it is easier to lose precious and wonderful pictures.
3. Picture quality. We have actually already talked about this issue above. As for the ultra-large zoom digital cameras that have just been launched, strictly speaking, their picture quality is not very good, especially at the telephoto end.
4. Weight and volume. Since the lens of a 10x zoom digital camera uses more lenses, the diameter and size of the lens will become larger, resulting in a corresponding increase in the size and weight of the camera. Although some ultra-large zoom digital cameras with compact designs have appeared, until now, there has not been an ultra-large zoom digital camera weighing less than 200 grams.
