What is the best software to identify the authenticity of photos?

Looking at the beautiful clothes on the computer, I found many flaws after I got them, but after contacting the seller, it seems that the seller always has only one explanation-the color difference of the display. Well, to be honest, I am "stealing" the material PS. There are many ways to judge whether a photo has been modified online, such as carefully checking whether the details of the photo are normal, whether the colors are blended everywhere, and whether the light source meets. But these are undoubtedly too difficult for ordinary people who are not familiar with photography. How to identify PS photos in a simple way?

1, look at the picture properties.

In the file attribute of the picture, there are detailed information when the camera takes pictures, including shutter speed, aperture and even the model of the photographic equipment used. If it is modified, this information will no longer exist. Right-click the online picture first, save it as a file, and then right-click File → Properties → Summary (see figure 1 and 2). Figure 1 contains detailed information when taking pictures, while Figure 2 only contains simple information of the picture itself, and many contents have been deleted by the author, giving people the feeling that "there is no silver here for three hundred and twenty" after PS. This method is simple and effective against ordinary profiteers. But now, except for the relatively junior profiteers, other slightly higher-level profiteers can easily modify this information with software.

2. Search for similar pictures.

As the saying goes, "if you don't know the goods, you are afraid to compare them." If you compare similar pictures, you will definitely find many problems in the pictures, such as whether to steal the pictures, whether to modify them and so on. You can use Google Pictures (photos) search to see if there are similar but different pictures (see Figure 3). As can be seen from Figure 3, many related pictures have been searched, but the pictures are a bit messy. If the requirements are not high, you can directly search for related pictures in Taobao.

3. View the source code of the picture with Notepad.

Are you kidding? View pictures with notepad? I've heard of using drawing, browser and other software to view pictures, but I've never heard of using notepad to view them. In fact, viewing a picture with Notepad means viewing the source code of the picture. In the second line of image file information, if you modify it with PS, there will be corresponding information, including modification tools, version modification time and so on. 4. Use JPEGsnoop to determine whether it has been modified.

Most photo processing software will add their own information to the processed photos, but it is not difficult to delete them. After excluding this information, none of the above methods may work. After downloading the software, double-click Install. Due to the continuous development of other image processing software, JPEGsnoop has to be upgraded continuously to ensure the correctness of software detection, so we should pay attention to checking the automatic upgrade of software.

Using JPEGsnoop is very simple. Click File → Open Image to open the image file to be detected. JPEGsnoop shows a lot of information, and the final detection result of the photo is displayed on the last page (see Figure 5). In the box of fig. 4, the image processing software (Adobe Photoshop CS3 Windows) and the conclusion (the image is processed/edited, indicating that the image has been modified) are clearly displayed. There are four possibilities for the final detection result of JPEGsnoop: the photo has been processed, the photo is likely to be processed, and the photo is probably the original, so it is impossible to judge whether the photo has been processed. It is worth noting that due to the development of image modification software, sometimes the name of the modification software cannot be displayed in the result of "photo processed".
